Thanks guys, I already eat a lot of red meat, fish, nuts etc so I'll just try to eat more! Never been a fan of a avocado's but I'll try to learn to love them.

You can put them on sandwiches. Adds some texture.

Also, put olive oil on things. Adds calories that are very good for you.

I love my charge hr so much but a more professional looking watch would be better for me.

The best (and perhaps only) place for avocado is in a smoothie... hidden away from being tasted. ;)

Woooo. Last day of rest week. Back in the gym tomorrow for leg day! Feeling rejuved. Gonna squat the whole damn basement tomorrow woooooooo

So just finished a shoulder workout, got myself a shake with 400ml whole milk, scoop of protein, 2 scoops of oats, massive spoonful of peanut butter and 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream.

Hopefully I'll fit in a sausage sandwich and another shake before bed. All the while feeling like I may explode at any moment.

OK, last workout of Feb was today, so an interesting look at Jan and Feb progress.

Two things of note:

1. I started cutting weight seriously Jan 1.
2. Jan 14 I added one assistance movement, close grip dumbbell press

So adding just that one assistance exercise appears to have gotten me PRs+ on bench and OHP.

On the other hand, squats used to be my favorite exercise and are now the bane of my existence.

Also, I no longer have any excuses not to do cardio:

While I know you're teasing, we definitely don't want this thread to have that vibe. Helping newcomers is one of my (and the community's) favorite things and I don't want anyone to be discouraged. I wouldn't be where I am today without these guys.

Yeah, this place is great. Naturally from a beginner perspective it's intimidating to be around beast-mode guys, but you all are softies that love helping. <3

Seeing as I'm new here I just wanted to say I actually like the vibe. Some of you guys have presumably been on FitGAF for years, I like to see the banter of regulars. Plus the community had been nothing but helpful to me.
