I like cow stomach or 'tripe'. It's a pretty popular Italian cuisine and taste really good if you know how to make it like my mom.

I don't want to live in a world, where black/ salted licorice, olives, broccoli, feta cheese, carpaccio* and tomatoes (among other things mentioned) are considered to be "disgusting or unappetizing".

EDIT: *, onions...

Ooo

Olives.

I haven't met many people who actually like Olives.

Olives are the best. I could sit and eat them all day if I had a big enough supply.

Thin, very crunchy crust pizza, sometimes with salt added to it. There is one, Casano's, uses so much salt on the crust that it tastes like a salt lick instead of baked dough. It's absolutely disgusting.

I've heard of Cassano's but have never had it. You can find thin, crunchy-crust pizza all over the country (and world) though. Why is it called "Dayton Style"? Maybe I'd understand if I tried it. I don't get back much but...any other places that serve it besides Cassano's?

I love onions. Raw, caramelized, it doesn't matter. Love it on pizzas in burritos even omelets.

I can't stand friend onions, but all other forms, especially BBQd and grilled are delicious.

Like if I have a burger the onions have to be cold, fried onions take over too much of the flavour.

This is the thin, crispy style which is usually cut into squares.

This is about as close as I can get to it. Think Donato's and Marion's style pizza.

Think Donato's and Marion's style pizza.

Oh I love both of those places! Marion's much more than Donato's though...that sausage (hnnggg). I guess I qualify for the thread now!

I still think it's pretty crazy to attribute that type of pizza to Dayton. Even giant national chains like Dominos make it (not nearly as well). Everyone wants to claim something though, I guess.

Marion's and Donato's are okay for the most part, but Casano's the probably the worst pizza I've ever had.

I never understood styles of pizza outside of Chicago and New York style. The rest is either thin, thick, or regular pizza.

Anchovies on mah pizza.

Yes! It all started due to my curiosity after watching Futurama. I also like jalapenos on my pizza too. I can taste a hint of the spicyness baked into the crust. The addicting saltyness from the anchovies combined with the spicy jalapenos is too good.

I have a pretty pedestrian palette but the one thing most people question is my love of green olives on pizza. I love them!

Internet High Five! Black olives on pizza are good, but green olives on a pizza is God Tier. The tang and bite they have goes perfect with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.

I forgot about Black Pudding.
I once stayed at B&B where the owner asked in hushed tones if we ate Black Pudding a few minutes after we'd already ordered our full English Breakfasts, I guess some people dislike it so much the poor guy wouldn't even advertise it on his menu.

In Japan people think the peanut butter+chocolate combo is disgusting, so whenever I import Reese's or Butterfinger and give some to friends, they always say it's gross. Lots and lots of people here don't like the chocolate+mint combo either. Same with Dr. Pepper and root beer. I love all of those things and people think I'm weird for it.

Until a few years ago, Dr. Pepper wasn't sold in Germany at all. When I saw it one day in a train station shop, I was really curious to try it. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever drunk.
The problem with the peanut butter + chocolate combo is the American chocolate. Otherwise it'd be delicious. :p

Anchovies on mah pizza.

Candy Corn.

Sauerkraut. It's delicious and no one I know likes it

I also think I'm the only person in the world who likes coconut

Olives.
Raisins.
Dried Cherries
.

Nothing too crazy.

Pickled herring and raw minced pork. Nothing out of the ordinary where i come from but many people on the internet seem to find the thought of eating it revolting.

All disgusting. <(￣ >￣)/

Urchin, natto, tamago kake gohan, shirako, jam on top of cheese on bread, salty licorice. Hmm.. can't think of anything else.

Things I don't like that everyone else loves:
Pickles
Peanut butter
Lasagna
Beer

Reese's is pretty tasty! But I hate plain peanut butter.. if it's mixed with chocolate, then it's like heaven~
Also good as ice cream w/ chocolate. :3

Me and my family love patte, aka pureed goose liver. Whenever friends and whatnot come over it always grosses them out.

Until the try it.

I don't want to start a discussion, but what they do to those gooses to get the Foie gras is pure cruelty. I'm glad it's forbidden in Germany to produce, even though they can still sell imports.

Okay, I googled it. I've never eaten anything with blood in it, but doesn't it taste metallic? Because of the iron?

Uhmmm... Nope. The taste is quite bland actually and it's best to be partnered with vinegar. It's basically a chicken blood set aside until it hardens so you can slice and grill it to perfection. :D

Yeah, I read that. I really couldn't bring myself to even try this, lol. The chicken intestines on the other hand wouldn't be a problem for me. I'm not really into entrails, but they use pig intestines to make sausages and in Germany we eat a lot of sausages. :D

You should try it tho. It's not bad. And the texture's excellent!

And if I may add this one. The best part would be the brain. So rich and creamy.

Yum ! :)
My man!
Filipino cuisine is so fucking good.

p.s.
They have a version of that sheep intestines they do in China which is also fantastic. And chicken heads are just great everywhere.
