The highway is straight enough, no cars for 200 yards in both directions.

Thanks for the info.

I knew you were an idiot.

Mexico played a weird game. During regular time, there were sections where they were just passing the ball around and not attacking, just wasting time. That almost screwed them over at minute 92 when Honduras almost scored.

Honduras put up a good fight, much better than Panama. Definitely the 3rd best team in CONCACAF right now. Bad sportsmanship though, with the diving in the last game and the fouling in this one.

Chepo needs to use both De Nigris and Based Pea from the start.

thats what I've been saying since the start of the GC. Cheech needs someone to assist him in the front and vice versa as well as hold off defenders or feed cheech some nice thru balls.

Gio does this well enough and he can also do some amazing run from the wings. If we had a better midfielder duo Chepo would do a 4-3-3 with Chich, Gio and De Nigris.

Colombia 0-0 Mexico u22 if you missed it. I can't understand why Tena doesn't start Jona.

2nd leg hasn't been played yet, but they are two goals down. A tie will suffice them to remain in Primera División, but still.

Wow. If they go down I suggest every player on the pitch from either team just RUN the moment the whistle goes. Its not gonna be pretty.

edit below vid. Oh sheeeeeeeeeee 8)

His doctors are saying it is minor and he could play for Saturday, but he won't go into the field unless he feels one-hundred percent recovered.

Wow, In the Euro U21 tournament, Spain came around to equalise with belarus in the 86th minute and won the game at extra time 3-1? They now go to the finals, interesting.

Mexico vs the USA on for the final, cool.

What do you mean so what? It's the only reason anybody gives a fuck about City (apart from their fans) and its the only reason City can attract the type of player they do. Not to mention the fact that they have spunked a lot of money down the drain and pay a few of their player outrageous wages.

Their pretty much Chelsea Mark II. For fans of teams like the mighty Everton the whole situation must stink.

But why should the fans care? They see quality players in a team and they enjoy watching them play - that can be said about any team - whether they have so much cash to splash or not - all the fans truly care about is the game and the performance.

If any football club has enough cash to spill for talent, then so be it.

Edit: For any CFC fans interested. Interview with AVB.

Thanks Kyle, this was a joy to watch. I really appreciate his humble attitude. I'm still in shock to see him as the official coach.

Santos won Copa Libertadores (aka South American Champions League)

Neymar and Ganso were the top Santos players... Ganso is probably going to Italy soon (milan or inter) while Neymar seems to stay in Brazil a little longer, maybe aiming for a end of year move to Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Congrats for Santos, first Libertadores title after Pele's Era (1960s)

Looks like Raphael Varane is joining Real Madrid. The very same player that was worried he wouldn't get enough game time at United.

Another youngster for the Madrid bonfire.

Edit: Also, seems like Lukaku to Chelsea is as good as done.

Most papers reporting that although PSG and Roma want Clichy and have offered more than us, and Arsenal don't want to sell to us as we're rivals, Clichy himself is holding out for a move to us.

Is this another Roman signing like the Torres deal? It's been rumoured way before AVB took over, I thought he would have had the final say on if he wanted Lukaku or not.

The word is that they were waiting to install a new manager before it was confirmed to give it the illusion of being the manager's signing (lol)
