Argentina's away kit is so sexy, even with the number on the front. the collar on the home one hangs down real low and it annoys me, but the away is perfect.
Not seen the argentina kit. Was thinking of buying this Germany world cup kit with Ozil. What do you guys think?

Looks like Mexico is going to have another upset. Sanchez is disappointing so far.

It was pretty cool that the referee actually mark the spot with white paint (probably water soluble) where the free kick is supposed to be taken.

Edit: nevermind, nice header and now Chile is back.

Edit: Just noticed the OT thread...

oh yeah, thanks didn't think about it lol (kinda sleepy 3am here).
By the way, anything happening with Juventus and Aguero? seems like city could be in for him if tevez leaves.

I'm trying my best not to think about it lol
recent quote
"I thought that, by now, I would have made a decision about my future, but it has been very hard," he said at a press conference.

"Everything is in the hands of my agents and when Copa America is over, everything will be solved."
His agent wants him to go to Juve, Maradona wants him to stay in Madrid. I doubt he's even considering City tbh, he said that he's either going to stay in Spain or go to Italy..last week he bought a house in Madrid though, and it's next to Mourinho's house -_-

lol damn its not looking good. Maybe juventus can take Tevez assuming as he wants to play in italy. Heard some rumors that Real would bid for tevez which could leave aguero for juve.

I really don't want Tevez :p I can see him whining about the restaurants in Turin after one season lol

As long as we don't buy Berbatov I'll be happy.

LOL why the hate for berba. he did finish top scorer in the league along with restaurant hating tevez ;)
To be honest, I haven't seen much of juventus in the past couple of years, but when they played against united in the memorial, they weren't so bad. They played 2 young players in the 2nd half who, imo, looked like top players. especially the one who scored the 2nd with the feekick. btw, have they still got giovinco?

Whut? Berbatov is a class player.

I wouldnt worry about Tevez, the more I think about it the more I think the only place he can go is Real Madrid (Money+Spanish speaking country for family+The chance to knock Messi down a peg).

Tevez statement

IT is with great regret that I have to inform Manchester City of my wish to leave the club. I would like to state that I have great respect for the club, its supporters and the owner, Sheikh Mansour, who has been nothing other than respectful to me.

I hope that people understand the difficult circumstances I have been living under in the past 12 months, in regards to my family. Living without my children in Manchester has been incredibly challenging for me.

Everything I do, I do for my daughters, Katie and Florencia. I need to be closer to them and to spend more time with them. I need them to be happy because my life is about them now.

I need to be in a place where they can adapt. Being captain of Manchester City, qualifying for the Champions League, winning the FA Cup and finishing as top scorer last season has made me very proud.

I hope that most City fans will understand that I have given them my all on the pitch and that my dedication to the city cause has been 100% on the pitch.

I hope I have done my bit to help City continue their progress towards their ambition of being champions of England and to advance in the Champions League. I have no doubt that the players and management of City will achieve great success in the future.

Really sucks, but you can hardly blame him. I'll be really sad to see him go but at least he gave every ounce of himself on the pitch, and I'm sure he will be well regarded in City annals for long into the future.

It's been a bittersweet day, great signing of Clichy and then Tevez leaving. It's not over till it's over though, and maybe if they fling out a laptop with the City website he'll change his mind. He's only human.

Yeah its hard to say no to Madrid

After being linked to Ageuro and others it'd be disappointing if we end up with Berba :p He's hardly consistent, and we already have two strikers similar to his play style.

have they still got giovinco?

he plays in Parma now :(

But do they score 5 goals in one match like berba? :p
Giovinco was a good player, shocking that they sold him. what happened?

You won't find any disagreement from me. Manchester is pretty much a dive, and I was the one to argue it initially. It was the collective butthurt that refused to accept it. :lol

Yeah it's unfortunate, everyone loves him here.. the coaches were dumb as hell. He was almost always benched so he decided to stay with Parma after his loan spell.

Villas Boas wants Pepe from Madrid. Honestly, it seems like Pepe is the only guy that can "handle" Messi, maybe that's why he's interested?

Don't you guys still own half of giovinco's contract? I think there is a good chance he will go back to Juve after the Euro's next year. I assumed that was his main reason for staying with Parma, week in week out calcio so he can make the euro squad next year

Giovinco and Borini could make a deadly combo at Parma, Borini had an excellent end to the season; 6 goals in 9 appearances or something.

What's the problem with Tevez and his family not being able to live together? I know I've read that his wife/babies mother is a raging bitch, but is he not rich as fuck?

You know how the Beatles said that money can't buy you love? That may be true, but it sure as hell can buy you a fuckton of other shit and certainly a bit of happiness.

This "my daughters....my family" line is a load of bullshit. Carlos is nothing more than an attention whore, who's been out of the papers for a few weeks and this is his go to plan to make a few headlines. At this point, it's really played out.

Anyway, where in the world is he going to play and be happy? What is his endgame here? He's in the prime of his career; what is he going to take a pay cut and go back to Boca!?! I'd like to fucking see that, if only to get his ass out of the league, so we don't have to have this shit pop up every 6 months. Someone so talented, rich and ugly shouldn't cause to much drama.

I ain't mad about CR, either.

It's just that "lol not happening" is a decreasingly credible remark.

with mourinho and all those portugese players @ madrid, highly unlikely

unless real madrid comes calling and bids on one of your top players, u got nothing to worry about

Oh god.

If this goes on, I will start feeling solidarity with Gooner-GAF.

hey at least we pay well! 80m for ronaldo! and no one put a madrid jersey on ronaldo while he was still with man utd.

now compare that with barca fab saga!

arsenal will be lucky to get half of what we paid for ronaldo

man utd does the same thing when they go buy top players from other clubs (like this summer, in fact man utd is outspending madrid atm)

but when madrid buys man utd's player people get pissed

Wow, aren't you a real piece of work.

Firstly, he was involved in a horrific accident as a kid when a boiling pot of something was tipped over him, causing the bad facial burns/scar that he lives with now. Clubs have offered to pay for him to have corrective surgery, but he refuses and believes it was a defining moment in his life.

Secondly, unless you have some groundbreaking new information that has yet to be gleaned from the man himself, you have no choice but to take him at his word. It's not like the issue is money... City pays him 200,000 + a week, and would pay more if it meant he would stay.

Finally, Tevez and his wife have had a fractured relationship and she doesn't want to live in Manchester. For the past few years she had stayed with the kids in Argentina and he gets to see them sparingly. He has tried to convince his wife to move to Manchester, but she refuses.

Basically, that's all we know. Like I said, offer something new or keep your crass, misinformed opinions to yourself. You offered nothing but an opportunity to view how much of a collassal wanker you are.

Either his wife is a selfish bitch, or he's just a lying money grabbing merc.

A footballer has 10-15 good years to earn his money, then age turns the tap off and the legs slow down, so if his mrs could not deal with that and put up with her husbands job for you know 20-60 million quid for a few years then she has to be an extra special twat of the BIGGEST kind.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying Tevez's story for one second.

No just NO. Fabregas is just awesome and if Arsenal do what the media is saying the are doing then this transfer window sucks no matter who we bring in.

Fabregas is the fucking man... and worth at least 50million. Any less than that and we are ripping ourselves off and I still can't understand why we are doing this. The guy is contracted until 2015... selling him now is fucking dumb. I hate it, I hate it a lot.

Because he doesn't want to be there. It's as simple as that.

Sure, but does that mean that the transfer fee gets docked 30-50%? Oh well, the drama will be over soon. We will finally know if Barca were just trolling about their lowball transfer fee or if Arsenal was gullible enough to sell for that lowball fee.

I like the germany world cup kits. I buy a lot of my stuff from ktbag.com but I don't think they have that one. Ŷour best bet might be world soccer shop. Pricy yes, but the world cup kits are getting harder and harder to get especially away strips.

I don't understand the Clichy hate:

Debunking Myths about Gael Clichy:

Myth 1) Gael Clichy Cannot Defend – Looking at the stats, it is apparent that Clichy gets an unfair press for his defensive frailties. On 50/50 challenges, he wins 58% of a total of 351 challenges while Everton ’s Leighton Baines is at 55% and Newcastle’s Jose Enrique is at 51%. In regards to total tackles, Clichy made 50 more than Enrique and 27 more than Baines with a favourable success percentage of 81% to Enrique’s 84% and Baines 74%. On aerial challenges too, Clichy attempted 111 compared to just 44 by Enrique and 43 by Baines and winning just over half at 51%, a better percentage than Enrique (32%) but less than Baines at 63%, although the number of aerial challenges attempted means Clichy won more in total.

Myth 2) Gael Clichy makes too many crucial mistakes – A very simple stat that shows that Clichy is equal to both Enrique and Baines. Clichy made one defensive error that led to a goal last season, according to Opta Stats, while Leighton Baines made 2 and Jose Enrique made 1.

Myth 3) Gael Clichy creates chances going forward – Bizarrely, considering how Clichy is perceived as an offensive full back, his chance creation stats don’t reflect too favourably compared to Baines’ and Enrique’s. Over the course of last season, Clichy only created 21 goal scoring opportunities while Baines managed to create a staggering 74 (although the figure is skewed by the fact he is a set piece taker), with Enrique creating a solid 30.

They mad. They have to justify his decision to leave Arsenal by saying he's a bad player, when in actual fact he's a very good defender. Hence the underlining of every mistake he's ever made in some inexplicable attempt to say he's useless. It's very transparent.

The same way people attempt to justify Tevez leaving United as though it was a mistake. Infact, it was a phenomenal success. Whether he leaves tomorrow or in two years time, it was a brilliant signing worth every single cent.

Clichy is terrible. Do you have a percentage of failing to tackle when it matters ?

Nope. But last season he made more tackles than any other left back in the league.

Just keep on hating. If Savic passes his medical today and makes his way to the CoMS I'll expect a similar amount of BS said about him...

I'm not hating on anyone for any reason, I'm as neutral as you can get :p. I don't support any team in the EPL. Most tackles made doesn't necessarily mean the best left back in the league. Baines is a game changer and Cole is just a machine. Arsenal were planning to sell Clichy for a long time now, I kinda think he left just to save face. :p

I have no idea who Savic is but I hope he's good I guess
