He's become more defensive in the last few seasons and despite those stats (which shocked me), he's not really a good defender. He was fantastic as a full back a few years ago, bombing down the channel and causing problems. But I won't be too fussed about losing him - he makes too many mistakes now.

Who do we replace him with? Gibbs is as good of a defender but always injured

Arsenal players with 2 years remaining

RVP and Vermaelen
Enrique seems to be the favourite, although it looks like we might be in for him too.

Then again, we were in for Clichy and about 65 other players too.

I don't get watching anything below the U-21 level to be honest. Since they haven't grown into their bodies yet, the bigger stronger kids almost always win.

SSN Breaking News: Tevez: I want to leave Manchester City This Summer

Oh no not this again Tevez please! For the love of God.

Also I feel bad for England U-17. I know the England U-16 coach Kenny Swain and he's out there with them. He's a good coach btw.

How Man City tolerate this idiot is beyond me. He changes his mind and opinions every second week... and he makes Mancini look stupid because he contradicts everything he says.

Tevez has two options.

1. Buy himself out of his contract.

2. Be sold. Let the bidding start at £40M I say. He's easily the most consistent striker in the Premier League and if Carroll was £35M I'd say he's a steal at £5M more.

He's pretty much the reason Man City is in CL, you know?

It seems to me that he has already sorted out his contract indirectly with whichever club Kia wants to send him to.

He's contracted to City. So are they going to put a bid in for him, or he is going to buy himself out, or is he stupid enough to think he can just walk away.

If it's the last, I'd like to see the clubs (the sheikhs) legal team make mincemeat out of him and Kia.

Nobody wants to buy him though. He is way too expensive for any but 6 clubs or so in the world and none of them seem keen to take on his antics.

I think Mancini will just ignore him, assume he will show up to training and have another great season on the pitch. I would. Tevez is a great player but just cannot shut the hell up when talking to the press.

Yeah. This is what I think will happen as well. Tomorrow the club will issue a statement saying the request has been declined and he'll turn up to train. Clichy will train too which is cool.

Who could replace Tevez at City? Aguero?

Maybe. That kind of forward who creates and cuts open defences is going to be a hard onen to find. Harder than an out and out poacher/goal taker like Villa or Bent imho.
