All caught up on Black Sails now. Season 1 was a nice entertaining romp but S2 is serious TV. They've done well to focus more rigidly on the strongest characters because there were a lot of uninteresting/poorly-written ones in S1.

Couldn't you use that same logic to rule out reading books, watching films, listening to music or playing video games? You could even stop following football and imagine Wimbledon winning the Champions League.
