Rooney is perma penned. LVG only has to decide on what 10 players to pick every game.
We have Fellaini though
CBs have always struggled against him when it's hoofball. Moyseh knew.
Have faith in west ham to take points of Southampton midweek as well.

I think Gaal is just being a pussy. He's too scared to take di Maria or Rppmey off. He rarely drops RVP.

It'll be tough, especially if we concede control like we did yesterday. Need to play at full intensity, with Sturridge starting, and our first choice back 8, aside from the difference between Markovic and Ibe being seemingly negligible.
Hopefully with it being a massive late game we can get a great atmosphere, the team struggles to keep the intensity up when the crowd quietens down, which is very annoying.

I'm not sure it makes any difference whatsoever, but I wouldn't like it if Rodgers was sat down for the entire match.
RVP's looked easier to score. He had time and a good angle.
This was pretty evident during crosses. You'd think one would attack the first post, the other the second but usually they both went the same way.
I'd take a 4-5-1 instead.
No one gets chances. Januzaj was rotting away in the bench or worse until LVG pretty much realized he's actually good. Today he had Mata, Herrera, Wilson on the bench and his first and only change, when behind, is hoofball to Fellaini in the 70 minute mark.
It's baffling and ridiculous. USE YOUR DAMN SQUAD.
The striker talk at UTD is a valid one but it's secondary to the real problem at UTD. The midfield is basically broken and the defense is joke. West Ham bossed UTD for long periods and could have scored more.
LVG should really be getting more out of these players.

At home we get away with it because teams don't press as high and Daley has time on the ball.
Away games, they do press a lot higher and our players struggle. Midfield isn't good enough for possession play with Reoney in there. No movement so we just hoof

Part of it is our players are so fucking slow. Rooney, Blind, RVP, Falcao.
None of them have the ability to run beyond someone with the ball.
Valencia is too fucking stupid to be able to do it, and Shaw lacks any end product at this stage.
Only to players who had the ability to make something happen were ADM and Adnan. ADM hasn't shown up since the start of the season and Adnan is totally insipid when forced wide.

First they would need alot of signings though, there is no depth in the squad and even the best start lineup is questionable.

Blind is anonymous and his goal doesn't make up for a total nothing performance.
