Fuck it, I'm taking the triple post. Good news Chelsea supporters

TThe football world was in shock yesterday after Jose Mourinho escaped an FA sanction following a vicious attack on Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur. McArthur, in action against relegation-threatened Leicester, went to ground near the managers' technical areas, and ended up in a tangle with Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson, who briefly put his hands around the 27-year-old's neck.

The good news for Chelsea fans is that Jose Mourinho will not be suspended (nor will anyone else) for this flagrant act of violent conduct. How Mourinho has escaped a charge from the FA on this matter is currently unclear, as he was clearly guilty of aiding and abetting Pearson in his assault via the use of powerful mind-rays from afar. The Blues can consider themselves lucky that no action has been taken after this heinous crime.

In other news, Diego Costa is reportedly relieved that his three-game ban, of which two matches have been served, was not increased following an incident on Sunday which saw Robin van Persie break James Tomkin's nose with a flailing elbow.

Also fucking lol at the FA not punishing Pearson, or RVP yet again elbowing people.

Johan Cruyff - "You wonder whether he has one or two screws loose".

Franck Ribery - "I haven't had fun on the pitch once under van Gaal. I had had more than enough of it".

Luca Toni - "Van Gaal simply didn't want to work with me, he treats players like interchangeable objects."

Lucio - "Van Gaal hurt me more than anyone else in football."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - "Van Gaal is a dictator, with no sense of humour"

:lvgtripleneck

And then you have players like Müller who are still on good terms with him. If LvG could take care of diva players he would be the best coach out there.

Any man not having Rumbo play every match for 90 minutes is either filled with hate or completely asexual, to be able to ignore the faboulousness of his hair.

I suspect him of both fwiw

Alaba about his coaches:

"Van Gaal was strict but always there for you if you needed him. Heynckes was like a dad to me. He was close to all the young players. And Pep has an incredible knowledge of football. I've never seen anything like this before."

Now seriously re: Gaal: from those quotes I gather that it depends on the kind of person a player is how he will connect with LvG. He's rather big on rules and discipline and the players bashing him tend to be the more extroverted lot, so I can imagine there being a bit of a culture clash (this without wanting to delve into the subject of stereotypes, "Germanic" vs. "Latin" mentalities etc.) Van Gaal, being as domineering as he is, does not mince words in such an instance.

This is not very strange for Gaal. Neither is his press conference yesterday, although I have rarely seen him act so cringeworthy. He thrives on creating a siege mentality within his squad to improve cohesion - Mourinho did not learn that from just anybody. What has surprised me is his cluelessness and rigidity in setting up United's system. If there was one thing I'd have described Gaal as half a year ago, it'd be as a pragmatist. His Ajax, AZ, Barca and Bayern teams were all differently set up and the Dutch WC-formation was born out of necessity, when he saw 4 in the back did not work. That is why I find it all the more baffling he is so unwilling to change that which diesn't work and so willing to shoehorn players in the wrong positions. Cluelessness seems to be the most obvious explanation for this out of character behaviour, but I find its' sudden onset strange.

Fuck em...

I don't think Gaal is assexual at all. I think when he's standing there, at the family dinner, verbally abusing his wife, at that point, I think his little red cocktail sauasge is rock hard.

Jose is that you?

Lol. Both Pearson and RVP deserved a suspension but how can the FA suspend Pearson when they let Wenger off with the shove earlier in the season? The FA have kinda made their bed with that with how Wenger got away with it.

As weird as it was with Wenger not getting at least a small ban, Pearsons incident was a whole other level.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
:lol

You'll be well out of it if your midfielders keep playing slick through-balls for opposition strikers.

Mason and Bentaleb had probably their worst performances of the season, I'm not bothered about those stray passes.

Last season the game at Anfield was over after 5 minutes, this time we were in it right until the end. I think we are a much more serious challenger than last season, we didn't lay a glove on any of the top team last year.

I wouldnt mind sending him back :lol He's worse than Dzeko.

In other news: Our new kit. Love it.

;lol - those are some nice kits too.

Watching Ep.1 of Better Call Saul made me go on a YouTube spree of Breaking Bad videos which has led me to ask this question:

Which are the GOAT or underrated Breaking Bad scenes?

I like the scene simply called, Gus'
final walk.
Dat music. Dem camera angles.

Pearson's incident was weird, as putting your hands on an opposing player is completely taboo. You can't do that, to treat it like a joke is even worse as it's a serious matter for me anyway.

The reason I brought up the Wenger incident is because he should have been punished as to tell managers know your boundaries. He wasn't, then Pearson now takes it even further and he hasn't been punished either. Now a manager will do something stupid and cop a 5 game ban or something and the FA will look stupid with consistency all over again.

As for Costa/RVP I think we all know the media got Costa banned because they blew it up to the point the FA had no choice but to ban him.

Loyalty is fine and all and I hope for Dortmund it helps them to keep their key players. BVB is far more likeable than Golfsburg.

And the kit is incredible. All 3 are perfect.

Dat Yellow and Black is real legit.
But loyalty.. eh. We'll see who'll stick around next year, Bundes 2 or Bundes 1.
I feel kinda lucky to have witnessed a good bunch of players loyal to my team in 2006.

how is the RVP goal in Brazil not the greatest goal of the tournament? it boggles the mind

You'll see many better goals through out the tournament from a technical level.

But very few goals (in my lifetime) have reached such an iconic status, covered the walls of brazil, set the president for what was going to be one of the best world cups I've ever watched. And it's just different to the usual type of shit you see

Amazing.

Well I don't understand liking it that much either, but whatever I quite liked it. At least it was quickly over again, unlike all the Sonic avatars on here, where it really is people in their late 20's permanently stuck at the mental age of 8. The avatar fan base I will never understand either. But then again, I have seen smurf porn so I'm sure there's some avatar fetish too.
