I hope Wenger brings in Podolski and hopefully a fullback to cover our bullshit list of injuries. I can't wait for Sagna to return... it really can't come quick enough.

Arsenal we're linked with Wayne Bridge, though it'll probably be on loan.
Fuck Bridge.. Anyone other than him.

I would rather us struggle through January until Sagna and Gibbs are back even if it costs us some stupid goals. Bridge is not the answer, not a good player in either case.

Thread title is so good.

Just watched a replay. Stellar from Sunderland. Sessegnon was above average. Bendtner did some useful things - although he should have buried that early shot instead of trying to go round Hart.

Can't believe I already posted in this thread without including the GOAT herself.

Any of you guys been looking at the Darkness 2 trailers?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JklpdxiNXJM

Wtf? :lol

Is that what I think it is? Man the first game was awesome.

Speaking of games, for the Wii owners in this thread, who can play PAL games, and would like a good slow paced game adventure game with a good story - try out Another Code R.

As for Chelsea, I dare you to play good today. I dare you. .

Looks like Steven Pienaar is leaving this transfer window. I can't see him being loaned out though, so I doubt he'll go back to Everton. Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Sunderland.

I think Corluka, Pav and Dos Santos will leave this month as well.

Just think how good Sunderland are going to be when MON gets to buy some players this window. Hmm..

Sunderland have vastly improved under MON.

From my team, I expect McEachran to go on loan, Sam Hutchinson to play a bigger role, and Malouda to possibly leave in January.

^Gareth don't take this is an insult - but you look like a more decent looking Robert Pattinson.

Couldn't believe my eyes when Terry tried to backheel that ball that got played across him when he was running back.

Shocking performances that deserve to be punished with not even a point gained. The team did not look like it was fighting for a win ever since they beat Man City.

I've had a crush on Ellen Page for a while now. She can do no wrong in my eyes. Would love to meet her as she seems so easy to get along with

Agreed with every. single. word.

The funny thing is, looks wise, she's far from my type, but I fell for her eventually, and for the way she seems to be in person.

Are those twins Neuer is with?

Guardian reporting there's no rift between Rooney and Ferguson, but he was fined £200,000 for the incident for being in breach of club rules.

I read that it came to light when he was lethargic at a following training session.

The classic instance is when Andrew Symonds showed up drunk at a morning warm-up, tried to lean on a wheelie-bin to steady himself, and he tumbled as it rolled away. How on earth he thought he was going to get through cricket training drunk is just beyond me.

Two of the greatest people in the world come from Abh Dhabi. Sheikh Mansour and Fady.

You are so kind dc. I always thought you were one of the best football fans around here :)

Sorry about that last loss. My dad's a City fan as well and it hurt to see him take a loss in the final 10 seconds because an offside goal : [

Liverpool won't appeal. That report was a full force slap.

It hinges on the video evidence. Without that evidence, it's just one man's word against another. If we do analyse that evidence and it's true, we should not bother appealing and risk an extension to his ban.

This in the Guardian was some hefty law speak that you may like Salazar.

But one legal expert suggested that Liverpool would be ill-advised to appeal given the level of detail in the report. Steven Friel, a lawyer for Brown Rudnick who specialise in complex disputes, said: "Paul Goulding QC didn't draft a 115-page document for the love of writing. He did so because he wanted to 'appeal-proof' the decision, and he has done a very good job. Liverpool face an uphill struggle in overturning the decision, and the risks of trying but failing to do so are huge. Of all the options that are open to him, an appeal should be far down the list.

Luis Suárez accused of giving unreliable and inconsistent evidence

And this is quite damning... [same source]

Linguistic experts assessed Suárez's defence but determined that his language on the pitch "would be considered racially offensive" anywhere.

The report continued: "Mr Suárez said that he pinched Mr Evra's skin in an attempt to defuse the situation, and that his employment of the word 'negro' to address Mr Evra was conciliatory and friendly. We rejected that evidence.

"To describe his own behaviour in that way was unsustainable and simply incredible given that the players were engaged in an acrimonious argument. That this was put forward by Mr Suárez was surprising and seriously undermined the reliability of his evidence."

The report also stated that Suárez failed to explain the inconsistencies in his evidence,

Lol at RAWK.

A Liverpool fan openly said he can't support Suarez if he appeals.

BANNED!

That forum is the biggest joke in football. I browsed there a few day ago and actually couldn't believe some stuff I was reading.

And I am glad that the report was full blooded and had zero room for misinterpretation for these desperately pathetic Liverpool fans (not anyone specifically here) to defend Suarez

That's a shame about Pienaar. He's had horrible injury problems and never really been able to compete for a place. He had some good performances, Milan and Liverpool away and Shamrock away he played really well. I wouldn't want to lose him without signing a replacement though. Townsend is off to Leeds so we will be really short of wide options. I'd like to try and get Hoilett from Blackburn.

Time for Ajax to get him back.

Why do you care about what goes on at other forums?

I couldn't give a shit about what goes on at Bluemoon, Glory Glory, Redcafe etc. but then again I'm actually interested in actual discussion =\

Why do you care about what goes on at other forums?

Well, RAWK misinformation did seep into Liverpool's official response, viz. Patrice Evra is a serial liar and racism-accuser.

That bullshit is still an article of faith on that forum. I'm not inclined to believe that the club itself has discarded it.

Cause I like football? I'm quite happy to read any forum mainly for the laughs. Why solely just read GAF?

It's good for a laugh. I always check RAWK and Arsenal Mania, some of the stuff you read on there is pure gold. RAWK has been brilliant entertainment in the last few weeks.

It's not RAWK information - its a mischaracterization that is present in many places. And it was the FA that called Evra an unreliable witness and an exaggerator in the Chelsea groundskeeper case, not RAWK.

Redcafe is making the decent point that if Ferguson was pissed enough to dock Rooney a week's wages and drop him, Gibson is proper fucked.

Fergie tried to sell him an eon ago. He didn't not want to leave. Then Fergie played him against crystal palace. We're out of the carling cup.

poor gibson.

Robben shouldn't be allowed to carry his own luggage, he might get injured. :(

Nice to see Bastian there, I think he'll be fit for the next match.

Guys, RAWK's not that bad (coming from a guy who really hated it months ago). There are a lot of sound members there, but you'll find yourself laughing a lot with the delusion of some of them (or after a match Liverpool lost).
