Got FM 2012 and couldn't find an OT :S

This is my first FM, the only other experience i've had with it is a demo for FM 2011. Any tips?

If I edit the database, can I use that database with an existing save file? I don't want to have to start again.

Nope, you will have to start a new game then.

But there is a save game editor as well I think in which you can change the DB of an existing game.
