Levy doesn't come out of this very well. AVB did quite well last season and came within touching distance of qualifying for the Champions League. They lost their best player and replaced him with new ones who need time to gel. Now he's been sacked when they're only 5 points off top 4.

What manager worth their salt is going to want to go there now?

'Arry.

love that draw. moyes did well to top the group. looking forward to city v barca which seems evenly matched right now.

lmao at avb. it's probably not that great a sacking - spurs are like a mediocre chelsea - but i'm still laughing at all the circle-jerking over their signings this summer and how amazing they were going to do.

We say that every time there is a ridiculous sacking, as long as there is money to pay extortionate wages to the new guy, people will keep going there. Just look at Chelsea.

Exactly, he should've let AVB finish the season and then make a decision. It's going to take a super manager to get Spurs into a CL spot this season, and no super manager is going to take the job.

@Squawka: Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (UKR) v Tottenham Hotspur:

Tottenham have scored 15 goals in the Europa League this season, no team has scored more.

Dat

What a fucking embarrassment

Moyes is very gradually coming for you, Zubi, you corrupt piece of shit.

I know he has said this because you have to be complimentary but its just so ridiculous its funny.

Yeah, don't worry Sal, City and Barca do not get on at the moment. He's just being nice because he has to.

Remy for Soldado cheeky swap, and he'd be away.

Yep. Get Scotty Parker back in that midfield.

Juventus going to Turkey again loooooooooool.

Juve don't have much luck. It's going to snow again isn't it.

Funnily enough it as a higher chance of snowing there (North-East, Black Sea region, close to Russia) than most other parts of Turkey looool.

"Snowfall is quite common between the months of December and March, snowing for a week or two, and it can be heavy once it snows."

Yeah, seems like Levy and Baldini ballsed it up in the summer. Levy holding out for ages to get a few extra million, allowing the majority of possible replacements to go elsewhere, forcing Spurs to sign Lamela and Eriksen. Levy who supposedly had some kind of arrangement with RM, only for them to go right and sell Ozil to Arsenal - not to mention if Levy had simply taken a part exchange deal with Di Maria then RM wouldn't have sold him anyway. And of course, Tottenham could have simply told Bale to stay the Liverpool did with Suarez and they'd be right up there where Liverpool are now.

We're fine with snow. We played and won before in snowy conditions.

we're not fine with your method of removing it though.
