I think I posted last season something about SAF being GOAT manager and the team being mid table quality apart from Rooney/RVP. He was able to make magic happen against midtable teams. His team's sheer quality weakness was exposed when going up against quality European teams (or FC Basel, lol). But SAF was clearly the master at winning ugly, 1-0 etc.

I think Moyes is proving just how good of a manager SAF was. Let's remember that Moyes isn't some random un-credentialed bloke, he was managing a higher mid-table team before he came to Utd.

Excluding Evra, Giggs and Vidic (who are all past their primes) that is how the entire squad feels. I dont know a single one of these players, yet they are suppose to be "big club" worthy, since they are playing for the first team for Man United, a big club.

I remember a time when i could easily name 20 Man United players, who is Cleverley? What is a Fletcher? Carrick? EVANS!!!? Yet City has a squad where even the subs are "names" and players you have seen perform at one stage or another. That curly haired Rafael fella is only known for his card in CL, that cost them the tournament, and now recently against Swansea. I cannot memorable thing about this player, positive anyway.
