They have a locational advantage being the one big club in the wealthy state of Bayern and a pretty successful past. Other clubs don't have the same economic power and have to make do with what they got. Outside investors can only own up to 49% of a club and can't have the final say over a club (except Leverkusen and Wolfsburg which are factory founded) which makes investing unattractive.
