Merte is shit, Dante is better than him for sure.

Merte's good man, second best defender in the league after Terry this season, maybe Lovren too. He's doing well because his lack of pace is covered by Koscielny being such a proactive defender, but Merte's generally intelligent. I think Dante's stupid and far too rash and was extraordinarily lucky to have stayed on the pitch in last year's final.

So its official - we will play against Valencia on Cyprus... Without Yarmolenko and Mbokani it was already tough challenge and now also without fans...

Can not really think about football, many of the Dynamo's fans now on the barricades. God help us.

Anyone remember Thaksin Shinawatra, the Thai guy who used to own Man City? I'm doing some research for an assignment I have to do on drugs, and apparently when he was in power he gave permission for government officials to kill anyone they suspected of trafficking drugs, and more than 2,500 were executed. It was proven that just over 1000 of those killed had zero connection to drugs. What a cunt.

So, footy-gaf, help me decide.

I am in Rome, my hotel gets the German channel that show the Bayern game, but just in case I googled an Irish Pub that also shows the game.

Should I watch it in the hotel, or wander the streets of Rome trying to find the Pub I googled?

Dark Souls fans are weird

I prefer to play without the fear of being invaded, so I play as Hollow, only becoming Human when I need to Kindle or Summon

Well thank God FROM are designing the game so you have to play it the way its supposed to be played. The entire point is to get invaded all the time even if it detracts from your enjoyment. If you don't like it, you're a filthy casual and shouldn't be playing it anyway

Doesn't Pulga live in Rome? Or did I make that up.

No fans? What's happened?

Have you seen The Act Of Killing? Shit reminds me of that. That was horrifying.

Sounds like a human rights violation that should really earn everyone involved a life sentence in prison.

i was person 1. not because of fear but mostly cause i didn't want to be arsed while grinding for items.

Same. I liked the risk-reward factor of going human to kindle or summon and risking invasion, with the option of staying hollow and just playing it the way you want to play it, without losing out on the messaging system

Match tomorrow is moved from Kyiv to Nicosia due to security concerns.

I find it strangely cocksure (stop sniggering) to call an opposing centreback shit mere hours before your team will be playing against him, let alone while proclaming the superiority of your own centreback.

he's one of the best CBs out there, in top5 easily.
Merte is basically german DvB

He may well be top five, but there isn't many world class CBs around at the moment is there? Thiago Silva is the only genuinely incredible one. Terry and Kompany are very good but each has a mistake in them.

Really? pulga lives in Rome? I didn't know!

I am kind of limited in my options, though, as the boss and his wife are along and expect to meet up after the game (I opted out of dinner in favour of the game).

Also, my hotel/I am about 200 meters away from St. Peter's.

Pulga, can you recommend a pub? is there one you usually/often go to? Do you know one close to the piazza novona?

Awesome, will check it out online right away

Yurt

il capo silenzioso
Bayern are a WORLD CLASS team, the absolute best in the world right now.

but IMO they have a few filler players on their XI (and bench). Not the best in the world in their position, BUT at least they know how to follow orders and they don't fuck up that often.

It's close enough to Piazza Navona, a 2 minute walk from Piazza Venezia. Two rooms with plenty of telly's, and I think tonight might be karaoke night after the games lol

They pretty much only need another amazing CB. Dante, van Buyten and Badstuber (RIP) are not up there.

An amazing striker is already done ;(

Edit: About Rafinha, don't know. Rat-faced shithead but good enough as Lahm backup. Not everyone can have Piszczek, Großkreutz, Durm kind of depth at RB :D

Thank you very much, I saw it after I had written my post. I'll definitely find it. The pictures look great.

Last night was actually kind of funny. I met my boss after dinner and some of the people he had dinner with were English, so they tried finding a place close by to watch City/Barca. I said it was nil-nil in the first half, so they were even more eager.
Long story short, we didn't find a place and instead I had a law professor from Harvard, a microbiologist from Georgetown University, and a professor of Bioethics huddle around my laptop in the hotel lobby to watch a stream. It felt surreal. Good thing I never clicked on the porn folder

O SHIT. Sanogo might be starting.

Oo This isn't ominous at all, at all.

Don't really have a clue what to expect. Figure it can go from us nicking a win to a complete trashing. Just hope Wenger won't throw caution to a wind.
