With the way this team is playing we would have lost either way.
There is a general unspoken rule in the NBA that if a team loses by 30-40 points then the coach is instantly put on the hotseat. This is not because a large loss like this is embarrassing (though it obviously is) but because if you lose in such a margin, it shows there is something more wrong with the team than just plays and tactics, the belief in the coach and the system, after that point there is no fucking way back, the coach is going to get axed eventually.
In football if your team shows so little motivation, and is scrambling for as many games as this United team has, it shows the players simply do not respect, care for, nor want to play for this man, no matter what they say to the media.
This isent one single game, its a string of games where the players look frustrated and disinterested, they arent playing for Moyes, they are playing because its their job.
They played for Fergie, because he is a legend and he hand picked these guys, each and every one of them, except Disco Stu and Mata obviously, what that means in elementary levels: They chose to play for him. Not for this dude, and it shows
