Nah I'm not feeling it. Half the actors seemed like they were fucking phoning it in from the trailer alone... if that's what they picked for that I can only imagine what the entire film is like.
Cap 2 looks good, apparently it's got a 70s thriller feel to it and lots of real stunts.
I'm always cautious around Marvel movies.
Captain America is one of the worst films I've ever seen (no hyperbole), and every film is hyped with the "best one yet" label. Was recently burned by Thor 2 in that department.

You know what, first time I saw Captain America the first time round I thought exactly the same as you. I fucking hated it. It was one of the worst fucking pieces of shit ever; so slow and boring and no good action.
Rewatched it last week, really quite enjoyed the first half. Nice, period setting. Good villain. Looks good. Second half is still pretty poor, but I was surprised how much my opinion on it changed.
Thor 2 was average as fuck though, so forgettable. IM1, Avengers and IM3 are good though.

Singer is trash. This movie looks stuck halfway between First Class and the original trilogy. Expecting it to be much more of the garbage singer did in the early films.

I go to matches alone by necessity as you have to really care to pay Arsenal prices but it's perfectly normal to do so and you shouldn't feel unsafe at home games. If you want to socialise come to The Tollington before and after the game.
