it's not bitterness, it's hilariousness on how some are quick to point out and moan about other teams getting game defining decisions but when they get them it's "oh, 2 wrongs make a right, whatever".

been said before, some folks can't handle catching a whiff of success.

Eh? Most Liverpool fans are saying it wasn't a pen.

Game should have finished 0-1 to Liverpool all things done correctly, although I think if West Ham are called on the foul then Liverpool step up a gear and aren't so nervy.

Anyway, it was a shit game all round in truth. Horrible to watch.

edit: I can't stand Fat Sam, pls fuck off to the championship.

Lol! Listening to Gerrard's post-match interview.

Reporter: There were some mind games going on prior to your second penalty.
Gerrard: Yeah, the keeper pointed at where I should shoot, so that's what I did.

But does anyone here actually suspect any foul play, conspiracy or anything? If so, I certainly haven't seen it. And fans of every team, not just Liverpool, have noticed how many huge decisions have gone City's way.

The ones that they have gone have been both 1) extremely big decisions and 2) should have had no difficulty in calling them. For example Silva was miles off. Sterling was miles on. That makes them more memorable - you remember the huge fuck-ups much more than the countless little ones.

I'm not going to argue any point about who has had more decisions go there way, because I think teams that play better football generally get more decisions. It's a numbers game - you have good skilled players in dangerous areas and you'll find you make your own luck. City and Liverpool both have those.

It's just that Liverpool haven't had any spectacularly strange decisions go our way.

Without baseless cliches, tell me why today's two wrongs didn't lead to the correct result. Both ended in goals, neither ended with a player sent off, the first one didn't lead to any swing in momentum. If you can give me a single reason that goes beyond 'two wrongs don't make a right because that's what my Mama said' I'll let you choose my avatar which I'll keep til the end of the season.

I'm not sure who I want to win the title. On the face of it, Liverpool seems to be the obvious choice as they are the underdog, they haven't bought their way to a title like Man City, and it's a new team on the list of PL winners. However, if Liverpool do win the Liverpool supporters will be even more insufferable then before. Can we not just call it a draw and move onto next season?

Most of the Liverpool fans on here are alright. The ones I work with in real life though... Jesus.

Congrats LiverpoolGaf, you guys are playing the best football this season, just a terrific job, more considering what background you come from.

Anyway, I hope City win the league.

I fucking hate playing West Ham away btw. They could be already relegated and I'd still be worried about it.

Brendan stahp. Just say 'I'll leave it to you guys to analyse'

Sunderland captain John O'Shea is prepared to drop into the Championship if they fail to beat the drop.

Even though O’Shea does not want to think about falling out of the top flight, the ex-Manchester United ace has already stated he is prepared to stay with his

current club and play in the Championship.

He said: “I have a relegation clause in terms of my wages.

"When I signed for Sunderland I was not thinking about things like that – but I signed a four-year contract and I intend to see it out.

“I reckoned we would be battling it out at the top end of the table but there have been plenty of changes.

“We have had new managers and players and we have been trying to get some stability.

“It has been difficult to get some consistency. We hung on a bit last season and hopefully we can do it again – but it’s going to be harder.”

Maybe we don't want you to stay, John. Maybe I would cry if we got relegated and we still had to see you play every week, John. Maybe, John, you should fuck off.

Love the bitterness, especially from City fans acting like they haven't got a single decision their way this season. Cry more.

Istanbul Derby is on right now and the telecast I'm streaming is literally zoomed out like a videogame so they can continue to run ads over the crowd. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. When they remove the ads over the top of the screen, they change angles and one pops up from the bottom. There's no fucking way I could deal with that every week. The match screen format is switching format sizes back and forth. It's madness.

I sometimes feel the need for a sarcasm tag here. Some tongue in cheek comments get taken too seriously.

They can be as bad as the clear troll comments on the gaming side that people buy into and then derail a thread within the first 50 posts. It's baffling sometimes how people fall for the shit so easily.

Most (i repeat) most of the pool fans in here are pretty chill. Couple of loose cannons and wagoners, but which big club don't have that

Called Chelsea at the start of the season, but at this stage would rather have Pool win it over the petro clubs. I would think that's quite a normal reaction from the neutral.

Eh. Doesn't affect us. Which club will steal our talented youngsters is a more a pressing question

Allardyce looks like Bernard Manning in Brass Eye ranting of a "fucking disgrace".

phahahahahahah

I wasn't trying to insult the Liverpool fans on here. I was talking about Liverpool fans in the real world. They'll start thinking that they are going to win the champions league and every world class player in the world should come to Anfield.

You will not find a single City fan who thinks this. You will find plenty who think they're not the only ones who've gotten them though.

I wasn't saying you were dw.

Everyone knows a couple of crazy pool fans in real life, that's part and parcel of british life. Like yorkshire puddings. Or being scared of hoodies.

David Silva has been consistently dangerous again after a bit of a dip towards the end of Mancini's reign.

I can't wait for the game next week.

He's catching up on Ian Rush now. (I think Gerrard can get close to 200 - reckon he'll be here at least another two seasons)
