BORUSSIA DORTMUND
Jurgen Klopp could head to United in a job swap.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN
Sami Hyypia was sacked this month, leaving a vacancy.

TOTTENHAM
Tim Sherwood is on his way and Moyes has previously been linked with Spurs.

NEWCASTLE
Alan Pardew is under pressure and Mike Ashley could move for Moyes.

INTER MILAN
Walter Mazzarri’s side are 34 points off the top and his position is uncertain.

We're also on course to finishing a league campaign with no games ending 0-0.

The last time we had that scoreline was all the way back at the Everton game in May.

1) Klopp
2) Simeone
3) De Boer

Those are the 3 I would be delighted with. Klopp isn't going to come, I don't see it. Some of the English media seem to think he could be swayed but I don't see what they are basing it on. So that leaves us with either of the other two. De Boer might be too big a risk...so Simeone is the one I'd be happy with. Although that too has it's issues.

The thing is I want a manager with a philosophy who will come in and begin to reshape the squad and the club. However, if we can't get any of the above...and that's a real possibility, I suppose someone in the mould of LvG is fine. I just worry about him, I don't know anything about him but he sounds insane. I feel like we need a calming influence right now. If the LvG + De Boer thing is true though...I would be happy with that.

He could be appointed at the start of June otherwise. So that means 6 weeks later.

There is a lot he can do in those 6 weeks. He won't be thinking about United until the end of the WC. It'll be a fleeting thought.

He needs to come in an assess the squad, his staff, the club staff, think about transfers. There's fucking loads he can do that 6 months wouldn't be enough for.

LVG is mad, but he's a mad genius who'd get us back on track. Don't think he'd last more than three or four years. But three or four years of good football and reasonable success is miles better than whatever you'd care to describe this past season as.

Who else is there? Hiddink is taking his job. Bielsa is going to France. Klopp ain't going anywhere; Simeone too probably. Madrid (surely) won't be stupid enough to sack Ancelotti. Don't see us rolling the dice on another trophyless manager.

Frank de Boer, maybe: ticks all the right boxes without standing out much.

Gary just has this unwavering romantic view of United. He believes United must always give time to managers and the play must revolve around wingers. It doesn't matter if the manager or wingers are shit.

And his brother is a Moyes boy.

Now is the time.

Tonight Chelsea run with intensity like never before.

Apparently every one of their League defeats came just before a CL match.

Bodes well for the weekend.

Today is the day.

His team have got to go with him.

Aside from the seemingly tremendous plunge in technical competence compared to Meulensteen, and the fact that the players demonstrably aren't arsed to play for them, there's just a pitiable lack of ambition. And imagination. And understanding of the level the club aspires to and historically occupies.

"When you are building a squad to compete on all fronts you don't want every single player to be the same. You want options and differences. In a certain game it might be Tom Cleverley and Carrick in midfield, it might be Fellaini and Carrick, or Fellaini and Anderson. It has given the manager options he didn't have before.

When you're building a squad to compete on all fronts, Fellaini, Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson means you are fucked. It doesn't add up to a satisfying range of tactical possibilities for anybody who knows what competitive football at the top of the table and in the CL is like. I don't know how Steve Round existed and functioned at Everton. It feels like he'd be unmasked as a know-nothing at fucking Dagenham. I want him tagged. I want alarms to go off if he comes within 20 miles of Carrington.

Can anyone explain me how Chelsea lost to bottom placed Sunderland?

It's not some kind of mysterious event.

After stories broke yesterday, no call from United hierarchy to Moyes to reassure or clarify. On a human level, this has not been classy.

Please Wooders, hit the button. Now Moyes is briefing back.

Yes it's amazing what disruption Moyes has actually caused, when he cleared out the back room and only Signed Afro we knew we were fucked the team needs to be structured from the bottom up.

Then we have the performances...

I just spent an entire 10 hour shift with ramifications, mathematics, tables and likelihoods floating around my head as I try and figure out how confident I am of winning the league.

No matter what numbers and possibilities I put into the equation, the answer is always 'fuck knows'
