Just wondering, do guys flop in football like they do in basketball? Or are guys actually getting hurt when they're cut under?
Hall of fame (shame):

Ah right. The sports psychology looks like it is a half decent course You looking at doing anything postgraduate? Should be starting a Msc in forensic psychology in October.
The conspiracy theorists are ridiculous.
We get one decision and suddenly the refs are all biased towards us. Get a fucking grip, people.
Fucking refs. They should let them all celebrate with Man U at the end of the season..
He went down so easily and was barely touched, it wasn't a penalty.
I know this is the football thread but I just thought I'd share. There's obviously lots of flopping and diving. But I actually suspect players are in pain a little more than we cynics (myself included) often think -- especially when it's cold. Kind of like when you accidentally kick something around the house, and you think, "Oh my God. My toe is broken. Oh man, that hurts. Oh jeez... Hey, it's getting better. Uh, guess I'm fine." That's why they get taken off looking half-dead, and then are back running full speed within minutes.
As bad as football is for flopping, I think basketball is worse, these days. It's become epidemic, because the refs are so bad it distinguishing between the real and the fake.
Plus Murphy went down way too easily.
But we all know if this was UTD at Craven Cottage that's a pen all day. Also, it looks like Mr. MUFC Gary Neville is going to call this a pen.Newcastle got a penalty at Old Trafford that clearly shouldn't have been given. Plus Murphy went down way too easily.
Only united fans defending the decision. Not even suprised.
Even Neville said it was a pen.
I His ball skills are unparalleled at his age.
..and that means all the ref's support Man United. There's no conspiracy - it should have been a penalty.

Who here is defending the decision?
I believe that a team doesn't spend 53 million pounds unless they think the guy they're purchasing is absolutely at a world class level and better than almost every other player in the world. There is a certain threshold where the price DOES equal the talent. That's all irrelevant though, all one has to do is watch Neymar play. His ball skills are unparalleled at his age.

Yep the Penalty Newcastle got against Man United was never a penalty and Trollotelli should have been sent off for stamping on Scott Parkers head but instead didn't even get booked and 10 minutes later won and scored the match winning penalty. This league is fixed. This league is fixed.
But you were the one who was saying that no-one is a conspiracy theorist. Before you paint all of us with the same brush - I never said that. I think the ref bottled it.
Looked soft on first viewing. Went down far too easy for me, though the replay made it look more clear cut I suppose.Only united fans defending the decision. Not even suprised.
Even Neville said it was a pen.
He's preparing his cheque book as we speak.

Wait, was the the United game with the dodgy refereeing decision at the end. Some of these episodes are very similar.
That was defo a pen, my heart sunk because I thought for sure the ref was gonna blow. Lucky escape there. Evra made some awful errors and needs to be dropped imo, he hasn't played well for ages.
Get back in your hole, Salazar.
There are bad calls made all over the league, people just focus on the ones which benefit the teams they don't like.Yep the Penalty Newcastle got against Man United was never a penalty and Trollotelli should have been sent off for stamping on Scott Parkers head but instead didn't even get booked and 10 minutes later won and scored the match winning penalty. What? Most United fans are saying it was a penalty. But calling it fixed is stupid. United has gotten more bad calls against them this season than for.
I never said it was fixed. Just think the ref got it very wrong.
My bad for lumping you all together.

RVP wants to win trophies.
