PSG €46M for Silva?!

They are not even getting close to FFP. Do they even care?!

Arab Money, my friend.

West Ham are signing Jaaskelainen, so that probably means Green to QPR.

As for Harry, the reason he said he's not going to quit is because he'd be walking away from his payoff. Levy will sack him. As for our new manager...

The Spurs fans I know are all celebrating because they think Redknapp has got the sack. Is it likely? That would be some decision from Levy.

They all seem to think Moyes will replace him. :lol

I just don't see it happening. Levy knows how many of the current squad are under Harry's spell, players like Bale, BAE, VDV, Kaboul, the chances of another manager doing better than Harry aren't worth risking the squad over. Nobody besides Fergie, Wenger, and Mancini has had a better 3 years than Harry. Unless we were getting Guardiola I don't think it's worth the hassle. Players like Harry and they want to play for him. Moyes just wouldn't be the same (as good a manager as he is).

So I signed up for one of those online footy manager games (soccermanager.com) and it is kind of funny. I get put into one of the game worlds, and the Arsenal manager has done work. Selling off players left and right to buy all the best players from RM and Barca. I'm curious to see how I do while I buy young players like Rodwell, Vertongan, and Javi Martinez.

Celtic's Wanyama is open to a move down south. Loads of teams want him, including Newcastle. Our desire to land a DM is probably a sign that Tiote's off. Though the ones we want are very young so they could be back-ups. Wanyama is only 20 years old after all.

Plus we've also been linked with Kalou, though Liverpool are supposedly favourites. :|

I can't see it not happening. But I don't think sacking Harry is entirely a footballing decision. I think he should have kept his mouth shut instead of blabbing to his friends in the press about his contract situation. In particular:

"It's not a case of me looking for security. What it's about is players knowing you've only got one year left on your contract and knowing that it doesn't work, basically. I think it's a situation of 'well, he might not be here next year'. You don't let players run into the last year of their contract if you think they're any good and you don't let managers run into the last year of their contract if you think they're any good."

And this was after he said:

"They [the players] don't care whether I'm the manager next year. They wouldn't lose any sleep over that. That's football."

Also he brought in Paul Stretford to try and negotiate a new deal... probably not the best decision he's ever made. I hope he enjoys the Middle East.

Do you guys still want Harry?

I do unless a Capello/Guardiola level manager comes in. But it does seem like Levy (rightly) took offense at the way Harry behaved when we offered him a contract in February. I just don't think it's worth sacking him over. I just hope Levy knows what he's doing, the wrong change now and we could be out of the top 4 for years.

Russia gets suspended 6 point penalty for Euro 2016 qualifiers and €120,000 from UEFA after fans threw fireworks, displayed illicit banners

Going to get some food before the game.

I think I want Denmark to win as I love an underdog...but I hate Bendtner and it would be a great last day with everyone on 3 points. Basically what ever happens I am happy haha.

Also #DamnFreeJeff!

This is how you stop Spain:
"I was the one that told them not to water it," Albertini said. "It was watered 75 minutes before kick-off, before the warm‑up, but we did not want it to be watered 15 minutes before the game. I don't understand all this [fuss]. We're not used to playing on pitches that are so wet and fast. Nor indeed are many other teams. It's nothing against Spain, it's simply a Uefa ruling which allows us [to oppose the watering of the pitch].

When I get home I'll give you my tactics. Won the league by like 25 points, won Carling Cup, FA Cup and CL in my first season.

As that random poster said, I'm ManUre

That would help a lot, but I'd still probably find a way to mess it up. So many options.

Whats your problem exactly?

Is your defence letting in too many or are your strikers not scoring enough?

Usually high scoring games, a lot of 2-2 draws seemingly, but yeah, a leaky defence.

Celtic's Wanyama is open to a move down south. Loads of teams want him, including Newcastle. Our desire to land a DM is probably a sign that Tiote's off. Though the ones we want are very young so they could be back-ups. Wanyama is only 20 years old after all.

Hands off, he's brilliant.

Just wondering here how is PSG spending soo much money when for sure they'll go right over FFP. No way is their club income covering how much they're spending.

They're not that a big a team.

They play in a pretty decent-sized stadium in Paris. Sure, Ligue 1 isn't as highly regarded as some other leagues around Europe, but they have a chance to dominate it. I don't know how they'll meet FFP, but they certainly are in a good situation to continue to grow their fan base (due to where they're located) and revenue.

I need a beginner's mode for FM. There is so much you can do in that game that I get wrapped up in everything and lose interest because time stands still. I need everything but transfers and team sheets disabled for my first real run through so I can actually play the damn game.

You can make it so that your assistant controls pep talks and game preparation as well as press conferences.. I always do that personally.

I would suggest starting out with an MLS team or something that's a little less intense in terms of competition and difficulty. Maybe play as a lower level team in Brazil so you can loan some talented guys for cheap and go for the achievement while you're at it.

I started with FM11 and really was able to jump in right away since the career mode is always my favorite in any sports game. You may want to search the net for recommendations on young guys (wonderkids is the terminology) that you can buy for cheap. Some of them don't pan out in every game (there's at least some level of randomness for most all players) but it gives you a good idea and it teaches you about upcoming talent from around the world which is nice. :D
