You mean as in very fast paced non chill Electronic music or Ambient style but not electronic?
Well, I mean Electronic style that akin to Post-rock in the sense that it doesn't heavily on beats. Chill electronic music can sometimes a non ambient music.

Russia's stout(lol) defense shutting out Uruguay so far. Liking this match so far, both teams aren't just mailing it in like most friendlies.

Pog the Log is as useless as ever. No idea why Advocaat gives him looks. Hopefully I see none of him in the second half. How is it that Izmailov who got his first call up in 6 years fits into the team better than you, Pogrebnyak?

what the fuck, blablurn? what the fuck?

Any striker with a little talent can do that. However, I still think Blaburnm is a bit over the the top on attacking Gomez.

Pog is suited to the PL style of attcking football and relying on strength rather than technique. It is not fair to call him a poor fit is the team around him does not play to his strength. I can see him being very useful against Portugal and Spain where strength is important to overcome their shallow defence.

I think we make it out of the group for sure, but after that it depends on the opponent. Against Denmark I give us about a 70% chance of winning, Portugal and Nethelands about 40% and Germany about 30% chance. Our opponent could be worn out from their tough group which I think helps us significantly.

Ahh right okay. Schieber I assume would be a better back up, as de Jong is unlikely to accept a bench place every week is he?

I see Schieber working out well. De Jong, I have no idea if we buy him. We've certainly shown interest but it probably all depends on whether Lewandowski is leaving next summer or not. If he signs a new contract, there won't be a bid for de Jong. If it's looking bad with Lewandowski, I'm pretty sure we're going for de Jong. I think he could accept it to be on the bench for a year considering most of our new players need about a season to fully arrive here. See Lewandowski, Gündogan, Perisic in the near past.

Oh right gotcha.

Not sure what the label is.

I like things like musica cthulhiana for a really dark vibe.

Things like Stars of the Lid for that "I am stoned alone, 1000 light years from home" kind of vibe.

Just seen what Suarez said. 1) Jen Chang better get to work. 2) No surprise he said it in a Russian magazine...

The man's a fucking idiot, it's confirmed by now. Irrespective of how he feels, why is he bringing it up again?

By saying he doesn't care and he took his punishment etc. etc., it renders the whole article moot. So why fucking talk about it in the first place?

Yeah I've got you progressing out of the group either above or behind Poland, think they could be dark horses. Your chances of beating Portugal would be higher than that surely?!

What are the odds Lewandowski leaves though? I'd assume a lot of German and Polish players stick to the Bundesliga, same as Prem, La Liga, Serie A... don't see him going Bayern. It would be nice if he stayed for a few more years at least.

also plz giv us shinjy naow

I don't understand why he and LFC didn't fight it, they feel so strongly that it's unjust...fair enough...just doesn't make sense why they pushed so hard for it and then didn't carry through.

All this conspiracy theory stuff is just hilarious.

Well mishandling passes and useless back heels in the box like today aren't suited to any style of play. Plus we have Artem Dzyaba 195 cm, 200 pounds who I think is strong enough. Plus he can do what Pog only wishes he could. About 1:26 in.

The cynic in me says that he's bringing it up in an attempt to get Liverpool to sell him, rather than him appearing to want to leave.

Hard to tell. There's nothing wrong with Lewandowski himself but his agent seems to be one of those agents. I'm still not sure if he just wants more money for Lewandowski or wants to have a player at one of the really big clubs. So 50-50, I guess?

Just pay more, we've got to show we're not making gifts on the transfer market anymore :)

Suarez goal in the Russia v Uruguay match, missed the first half, this has happened already.

Could be worth a watch now?

Edit: 1-1, worth a watch indeed :p

(Kerzhakov's goal for Russia if I remembered the name long enough to type it.)

Ugh, fucking agents. From what I've seen of Lewandowski he'd handle the other leagues fine, but as long as Dortmund keep their league form up and qualify for the CL (as well as perform well in it), I don't see why many players would want to leave.

I really want to pay more! What have we offered now, 16m? If we meet in the middle and say 18m that's a fantastic price.

£13.5m, about 16m Euros. They want 20m euros.

Official: We signed Caceres :D
ADP10 shades.

Designed by Lapo if I'm not mistaken.

Don't google him.
How hard can it be to corroborate something like that? It's not like he has the secret service escorting him. I call BS too. Van Persie makes no sense for us anyway. Too old, injury prone, new to Serie A, huge wage. Although in a way he seems to be a lot easier to approach than some of the other WC strikers on the move this summer.
Which is why I think Marotta is going to sign him. :p

In his radio interview he kinda hinted that buying a player with a huge salary is not a problem at all.

Relax, we won't.

I'm right behind you should that come to pass.

Chelsea in talks with Hulk. Believe that is as close to a done deal as you can get.

Chelsea and Hulk talks have been talked about for ages though, we don't seem very open about our signings so I'm just expecting "Chelsea announce the signing of Hulk" one random day. More anticipated for a right back tbh.

Lewandowski to United? Would be a great signing for them. Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez and Lewandowski... would expect the title to be at OT next season if they can add a decent midfielder or two to go with that attack.

Just read about Suarez. The fuck is he thinking about bringing that up again.
Lets hope we put a bid in for Vertonghen, Seems silly not to.

That would be a fantastic signing for them. If Marin turns out okay, him Mata and Hulk behind a rejuvenated Torres/Cavani/Falcao with a returning Romeu and Ramires deeper... dear lord.

Don't think we'll get him but I'd assume if we signed Kagawa/Hazard we'd be looking to play 1 up front next year. I wouldn't want four class strikers because as proven with Berbatov one of them will get the short end of the stick.

I'd love a midfielder though. Anderson's done in my book; if Carrick, Cleverley and new signing can step up we'll be in good stead. I've increasingly come around to the idea of Asamoah

Kagawa is clearly a back-up plan to Hazard. I'm sure they're telling Eden they won't sign any competition for him -- trust me, if United HAD to have Kagawa, they'd pony up another 4 million Euros.. that's essentially nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Once Hazard makes his decision, Kagawa to United will either be finished up immediately or off.

I honestly think United will get Kagawa but its stupid to try to draw it out when other clubs could soon take interest. And I really don't think he should be a second choice.

Eh, 4 million is definitely not nothing in the grand scheme of things for a club like United. United can afford to be stingy though, since they know even with a really average squad they can contest the title because the quality of the premier league is so low. That, coupled with the Glazers, and all that. Shit, when did United turn into Arsenal (if you replace contesting the title with content with finishing fourth)?!

Men in black 3 was OK. It's still worth it for Will Smith :p

Oh hey Wilbury is Wilbury again!

Might go see it this weekend. I hear Brolin is good. How is the sexy Conchord Jemaine?

Don't see why United can't get both.

I'd rather spend close to 50m on Kagawa and an actual centre midfielder than two similar players when we have Nani/Valencia/Young/Rooney/Welbeck/Hernandez.

Kagawa, Asamoah, that striker we've been linked with (is he Colombian or something?), and a left back.

Hazard has said playing time and position is his most important factor in selecting the team he'll sign with. United can offer that currently, but if they sign another high-profile player a week or two before he decides, that doesn't really show that they're meeting his demands.

4 million Euros is absolutely nothing to essentially any team playing in the Champions League, let alone the most well-known (at worst 3rd most) and highest valued club in the world.

I feel Kagawa has all the abilities to play a little deeper than Hazard.

He's too lightweight for me to be what we need in the actual centre of midfield. If we have Carrick as orchestrator from deep and Clevgod as the short snappy passes moving into space, we need someone like Fletcher (god rest his playing career's soul) to break up moves, be snapping at the heels of others, run box to box all day. I want Kagawa, don't get me wrong. I would just rather we sorted out the obvious hole in the centre of the park defensively as well as attacking wise.

United probably feel with only a year left on the contract and the apparent desire of the player to go to them they can get a better deal. 4 million may not seem that much but its 4 million they'd rather not spend if they could help it.

I guess we'll see what Fergie has planned, just think it's not like United to leave a player hanging while they find out if they'll need him or not. Kind of insulting.

Russia-Uruguay ended 1-1. It was a bit sloppy on Russia's end but they did generate chances and you certainly can't say they looked like the weaker side. Kerzhakov showed why he will be our first choice striker though. If only he didn't blow that one chance where he was one on one with the goalie. And Sharonov looked better than Twin #2, hopefully he starts at Euro.

Ehh, maybe but I still remember that 7-1 beatdown in World Cup 2006 qualifying.

Last big money signing United made was Berbatov, and that just didn't work, let alone live up to the fee. United don't need to make a marquee signing (whether that's Kagawa or Hazard); they can live on just fine. Granted relying on Scholes and Giggs isn't going to get you to the Champions League final again, but I'm not sure where their continental ambitions lie. I do know that the squad they have now should be equipped to challenge for the title again, regardless of what City buy.

Plus, United haven't had much success going after the really coveted stars. Didn't get Benzema, didn't get Ribery, didn't get Nasri.... and have been doing fine without them. No doubt they'd have more success in the CL with them than without them, but financially... what's the difference, really? That's when that extra 4m comes into play. If they don't want to come, then why bother? There's zero chance United will miss out on Champions league football next season anyways.

Having said all that, buying Young; I really have no idea what was going through SAF's head with that one.

Yeah, if you're looking for slow drone music without percussion or vocals, SoTL are exactly what I'd recommend (here's a sample).

Some Brian Eno fits the bill, too (especially "Thursday Afternoon"). In the liner notes of one album, Eno wrote that it should "reward attention, but not be so strict as to demand it" -- which is a great way to put it.

And now sources close to FSG are saying that he's not been offered the job. What the fuck is going on?

Dave Whelan trolling the heck out of LFC fans. If only he'd spend more time getting fans to attend his team's home games.

Rafa's never going back to Liverpool for 2 reasons: The Dalglish Experiement and Inter. The former because FSG won't want to attempt another 'roll back the clock' manager just to placate the fans, the latter because Rafa's tenure at Inter was a disaster, even if that wasn't entirely his fault.

edit: I'm not convinced that Martinez would be a succesful manager at Liverpool, but he has done a fairly good job with a thread-bare team. Heh, not unlike Woy.

There's a major difference between Martinez and Roy. Martinez believes that having the ball is beneficial. Roy believes not having it is beneficial. Very different philosophies.

Many reds including myself want Rafa back simply because (on paper) he's the most qualified man for the job. There's also a sense of injustice now that most things about that time have come out. The man was sacked by nutty cretin slimeballs and the 'Fernando Torres of Finance' Cecil Purslow. He's the best manager Liverpool have had since Dalglish's 1st spell. He really deserves another chance. I like Martinez though but I worry for his sanity (like with AVB) if things don't go well. The pressure's very different and it's a huge step up he's making if he takes the job.

Suarez shouldn't of brought that stuff back up. Silly beggar. Though he's right in that there was no hard evidence. It's best to just let it go. That's why we stopped fighting it, the FA were never going to give in, especially since it wasn't one of their own's head on the chopping block. (Captain, Leader...)

It's not like Suarez released a press statement. Probably for asked questions from the press and he answered. Of course he should be advised to just say no comment each time, but I'm sure they'd write about that too.

Glad he scored anyway!
