Chronicle has just finished!!

Slow to start but it gets good. Really good film considering it came out of no where!

The transfer to BluRay is awesome too. It's really great picture quality.

Udinese have been torn apart this summer. Asamoah and Isla are going to Juventus.

He's pretty awesome at penalties. Saved a record bunch last season I believe. Bosnian parents but born and grew up in Slovenia so he plays for them :(

UNFORTUNATELY, he's one of the best keepers in the world. Udinese are fine, they never sell a player without a proper replacement in mind.

According to Record.pt, Fernando has agreed to move to Inter Milan. Anyone interested in Joao Moutinho better get the money to pay his release clause.

Strange signing for Inter. They already have one of the best goal keepers in Julio Cesar.

Douglas can't leave the country until sometime in August so I doubt we'd sign him this early when we can look for other CBs (like maybe Sakho from PSG).

As for Debuchy, most likely isn't it? I hope Lille won't stick to their "must find replacement first before selling" plan.

Had. Julio Cesar has been on a decline for a few years now. Still a pretty good keeper, but I think his best years are behind him. The brazilian / Dida curse. Handa is a fantastic GK and I'm not saying it just because he's my countryman. :p Penalty specialist and great keeper all-around. Not sure if a new GK is a priority for Inter though ... Actually, I'm sure it isn't. Oh well.

Pretty much. However, he could be useful as a 4th / 5th defender and we signed him for 'free'. If that's what it takes to save money for the WC striker - I still believe! - then I'm OK with it.

Sakho is very much part of Ancelloti's plans. He is the captain of PSG and at the age of 22 made 27 appearances for PSG last season. A move to Newcastle would be a step down for him.

edit: and is the M'Vila deal officially off too? Wenger sure is dragging this shit out... hopefully now that RVP is leaving (now or next season, doesn't make much of a difference) this will be the slap in the face he needs to just sign the fucking deal already. no national team games just means he'll play even more for us.

This is an update for the fans about my current situation. I have kept quiet all this time out of respect and loyalty for the club and as agreed with Mr. Gazidis and Mr. Wenger, but since there is so much speculation in the media, I think it is fair for you guys to know what’s really going on at the moment.

As announced earlier this year I had a meeting with the Boss and Mr. Gazidis after the season. This was a meeting about the club’s future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.

I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days. Out of my huge respect for Mr. Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.

I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.

I love the club and the fans, no matter what happens. I have grown up and became a man during my time with Arsenal FC. Everybody at the club and the fans have always supported me over the years and I have always given my all (and more) on and off the pitch. I am very proud of being part of this fantastic club for the last 8 years. As soon as Mr. Gazidis is back from his 2-week holiday in America further meetings will follow and I will update you if and when there are more developments.

I know RVP is obviously posturing, but as if we didn't need even more confirmation that the board is a bunch of greedy, stingy SOBs. at least this time, the club is getting a clear message out there to the fans and other clubs, unlike the Nasri and Cesc (We should've held on the Cesc regardless, fuck you Barca... still can't believe we got just 30m for him) sagas. and the replacements are already here, so even more chance for Giroud to shine.
