Got mine, was just unbelievably lucky really. I had 3 browsers open, and while Chrome gave me an 18 minute wait time, IE for some reason let me straight in. Got a ticket for all the matches I could, didn't have enough credits from last season to get a United ticket so I'll have to hope that goes to late availability somehow.

Best of luck mate, sounds like the wait time is better than some people I've seen, up to 3 hours for some apparently. It's madness, they really need some better server capacity.

I've fucked it off. Will expand on my disgust later but for now I need some sleep and a paracetamol, got a killer hangover. Needless to say I've given up without buying any tickets, not a fan of being buggered up the arse. Think I might just fucking jet off to Amsterdam with some mates, instead of waste my money sitting behind a post in the Main Stand listening to the game on a portable radio.

They definitely need to sort the ticketing system out. They've made some improvements, the queue system actually telling you how long you have to wait rather than just letting you stare at a spinning logo is a good start. They really need to sort out seating better though, and the support itself needs improving massively - live chat is only available 9am-midday Monday to Friday. 3 hours a day? What's the point?

You should be fine on late availability though, that's how I got all my tickets last season, and apart from United in the FA cup when I was in the main stand (still a decent-ish view) they were all good seats too.

Welbeck still hasn't signed that new contract and SAF says its difficult to tell where the player stands right now.

Juve, MCFC and MUFC have all bid for RVP who is not going on tour with Arsenal.

Edit - Sorry, he isn't going on tour from the start. Unclear whether he will join later or not.

Why are we in for RVP?! It makes no sense.

Sure it does. Hernandez has been poop for a year, Welbeck is young and his contract is expiring, Berba is on his way. Obviously it only makes sense at the right price but United could do with another senior striker.

Theres no way we can be in for Moura and RVP at the same time. We don't have the money.

And if we really are willing to spend 60m on players, why are we still haggling over the contracts of Nani and Welbeck?

Chicha wasn't poop for a year. He was poop the last few months of the season. He was injured before the season started, came back scored, and was injured another two times. Came back scored a few more (chelsea, ajax, etc....) and then started to suck a lot.

His bad form has continued since then.

I assume its to keep some semblance of a wage structure at the club; if Welbs is asking for 100k a week (for example) then the club is rightly telling him where to stick it. But if he's asking a normal wage and still being turned away then it is rather worrying - unfortunately we don't know what he or Nani is really after.

Not saying we do have the money; but the club is probably looking at tv and CL money and seeing we dropped 40m+ last year because of where we dropped out of the CL and if we can keep in it this year the money would be well spent.

Maybe so, but I was assuming that with Kagawa coming in we're more likely to be playing with one striker, not two. You're right on Hernandez being poop though; he's an incredibly frustrating player to watch when not on the top of his game.

Boring boring boring talk. Just start the CL draw already, bald asshole. Please lets get Motherwell or Vaslui, we will be destroyed against Feyenoord and Brugge.

Arsenal playing hard ball. Rejected £15m bids from Juventus, City, and United. They want £25m, to which I say they are insane if they expect that for a 29yo who is going to be out of contract in a year. Ibra cost £15.5 to PSG who are not money shy. I think Arsenal would be silly to hold out for much more. £17-18 maybe, but not £25. And we're a foreign club, which surely they would prefer!

You would think Arsene Wenger learned something after selling Fabregas really late in the transfer window.

He did. We're making our moves early this time, and players who want to depart can go when we say they can.

Arseblog - Spanish press: Arsenal have bid for Cazorla

The Evening Standard were reporting a week or two ago that Malaga contacted us re: Bendtner, so that would be a great situation if we could use him to lower the fee. They apparently need money their owner won't give them though, so we'll see what happens on that front.

Julien Laurens still thinks we'll get M'Vila (5:38mins), but I'm losing faith on that front. We're clearly still after a midfielder who specialises in intercepting and distributing, but we may be after cheaper options. M'Vila is a massive DM talent but clearly either he or Rennes are scaring teams off.

T-Minus 5 hours to see the Goddamn Batman. Come on!

On topic, I'm watching the ManU - Azmadan or however it's spelled and that kid Maqueda is quite good.

Yeah from a Glazernomics point of view it doesn't seem like a viable transfer for United unless we're getting some sort of stonking deal for him, which isn't going to happen.

Quality player but too much for his age.

I still can't understand why Arsenal aren't buying defenders, they've not been linked to anybody. They stand zero chance of getting in the top 4 if they don't strengthen their defence, they are weak in goal and across the back 4.

We'll likely buy one. Yanga Mbiwa (Montpellier skipper) was the strongest link but you would've expect that to have happened if it ever was going to. They seem hellbent on keeping him and Belhanda anyway.

Bit of a stretch to say we stand zero chance either way though, we always seem to cope and excel (as far as CL qualification goes at least) when we're written off.

Arsenal informed Kees Vos, RVP will not be sold to another premier league club & only to a club that meets the £25M asking price.

In other news, Man Utd remain keenly interested in Lucas Moura, despite having a trio bid rejected by the Brazilian club. A delegation of united officials met with Moura's parents & agent on Tuesday to discuss. Sao Paolo have already turned down offers of €23M, €25M €28M, as the club value Lucas Moura at €44M

Reports that RVP has actually refused to go on tour.

What a dick.

It's a shame really this whole thing could have been handled a lot better and he could have left with some grace but he seems to want to burn all bridges with the club and fans.

Also I'm worried that we've only rejected United's bid, we would be stupid to even consider an offer from anyone in the PL no matter how much money they offer us. Just let him bugger off to Juve where we'll never see him again and be done with it.

Argentinian goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has this morning joined Saints on a four-year deal.

The 20-year-old moves from npower League 2 side Gillingham for an undisclosed fee and has now linked up with his new team during their French training camp.

Gazzaniga - pronounced Gass-a-neega - will train with Saints in Évian-les-Bains today with a view to being involved in tomorrow's friendly against Évian Thonon Gaillard.

.

You're right. But isn't it better to sell him now and invest the money early? You won't have many options (not talking about a striker here) available in late August.

25m for someone in the last year off his contract?Thats laughable.

Wenger is always the first to complain about the state of footballs finances. Such a joke.
