Anyone remember 'HOW'?

HOLY FUCK COCK BALLS YES! :D

The undisputed king of make at home things was blue peters Tracey island

Not sure anyone was successful doing it mind you

Anyone remember play days (or was it play school) complete with various stops (where will it go? Where will it stop?) and scary bird puppet, scary girl puppet and dave benson Philips?

Edit - Kyoufu I once got told one of the chuckle brothers was the other ones dad and I believed it for years

I'd have pulled down all the boy's shorts in the changing room to check out the competition and accredit respect where it was due. I'd sleep for an extra few hours. I'd walk into shops and grab some food and walk out. I'd shit in people's handbags.

Fuck me I want a Bernard's watch.

You'd have seen more helmets than Hitler by the sounds of it, but aye, fuck, Bernard's Watch would be a dangerous tool to have. Hell, even that 50p from the Queen's Nose would be!

I also liked Raven and Fort Boyard, although the latter wasn't strictly a kid's show.

All right, too much nostalgia for me. I'm going to bed before I get depressed from old age.

Ok but before you do just remember how hard it used to be for us guys to find a pair of boobs to look at, all we had is eurotrash once a week and the odd foreign channel with saucy adverts until channel 5 came along.

Nowadays it's boob central for the youth, a skill has been lost!

Youtube or get the fuck out

I seriously could never find it! I think my brother has a copy but he's at work :/. It was a Halloween costume competition and Fenners won even though he wasn't wearing a costume and we had to run through the outside doors screaming 'he's so ugly'. I'm sure it would be really embarrassing to watch now :/

I also miss how great educational cartoons could be. Geography and History was all kinds of brilliant when I watched Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiago?

One of the most awesome things I'd ever seen on Blue Peter.

Channel 5 was so fucking awesome.

On that note, going to bed. :)

Playdays? That was the bus thing right? I remember the strange wooden-looking parrot and a creepy clown :lol

I was on Get Your Own Back and my brother got gunk dunk'd.

But it's not on YouTube so I can't prove it.

Yeah right GTFO with those claims.
I'm so jealous :(

I'll tell you what is actually brilliant children's television nowadays, Horrible Histories. It's funny and it teaches the fuck out of kids. It's really really good. Lyrics are absolutely fantastic!

Smart Guy was a cool show.

We didn't have Disney Channel though so we only got to see it when Disney Channel was free for a few days for some reason.

I've just remembered another good show - Out of this World. Had a girl called Evie(?) who could stop time.

Time to get nerdy but this man and his show gave me a vocabulary at primary school age than probably any other kid of that age I knew

Star Trek makes you smart. I miss the old days of BBC 2, Wednesday evening at 6.45pm.

Recess where Gus lived under the jungle gym was my favourite episode.

Seriously though, you should all watch those Horrible Histories videos I linked, they're brilliant

I had the Disney Channel for a couple of years. Recess, Fillmore, Kim Possible, some classics on there. And then around 10 o'clock they'd start showing Home Improvement. To my shame, I've probably seen every episode of Home Improvement. I know what the bottom half of Wilson's face looks like.

I still remember my first Horrible Histories book, The Groovy Greeks. Read the shit out of it.
