The Times: The future of Roberto Soldado remains uncertain. Tottenham failed to agree a deal and Liverpool have stepped up interest. (Gary Jacob)

Yes please, him and Bernard will do.
Truly underwhelmed at the thought of signing Soldado. Regardless of whether Suarez stays or goes.

NO! Usho, stop them!

Next week is the next meeting of Gündogan, his dad and Zorc.

Let's do this!

Hey, we got no more transfers planned, so Ilkay signing a new contract or not is the most interesting thing until the start of the season

Nah you'll get a half-paced 30 yo Ronaldo to entertain your uncompetitive circus of a league. I have an image in my head of PSG supporters applauding like retarded walruses.
Nah Ronaldo will probably go to united when he is 30 something.

Is Moyes going to ask Scholes to come back from retirement?

St. Johnstone somehow managed to go through against Rosenborg though, I'm impressed
Seen that too. They will go out next round though.

Why? He's a really good striker.

Liverpool struggled past Hearts last year.
I remember, I was there. Hearts fans were decent in their support too, lots of fans around the city centre coming into the match.

We was utter shite in that game, much like Rodgers' first few months.

If we're buying Soldado, that means Aspas is surely going to play wide right.

In which case we also need a class left winger before we let Suarez go, be it Bernard or anyone else.

He would hardly play.

This, we have our own youth we need to develop first and foremost.

Yeah, but his sins will be absolved when he sticks on an Arsenal shirt.
Are you fucking kidding me, this cunt is beyond redemption.
Wenger must be crazy or really depressed just for considering bringing this shame to the club.
Please can we stop talking about this nightmare transfer until there is an official statement (that he will never join Arsenal of course).

With us he'll hardly play. With them he'll at least have a chance to grab a few minutes here and there. I would prefer Palace or the Championship for him myself. He needs minutes in England. That's really all a move is about.

And wtf at Arsenal playing hardball with Roma over Gervinho? They're apparently only £1m apart from agreeing on a move. Personal terms have already been worked out with the player. Arse want a bit over £9 for him. Madness.

I agree. But considering he commands a minimum £20m offer with or without Suarez I don't see an out-and-out striker being a priority. That money needs to go towards another centre midfielder, winger, or centre back imho.

He's better off playing for your u21's than going to Liverpool.

He'll be 4/5th choice in his position. Waste of time for him.

Some PL club might take him, Championship club would be best though, he'd get guaranteed minutes at that level.

I bet all this posturing over Gervinho is just making sure we have a replacement lined up. Waiting to see if Bernard (or someone along those lines... Grenier, maybe?) will come before selling him.

I just saw Greniers goal against Madrid, sick :/

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

Relax dude. Baldini managed to get Soldado to agree to join us and a €30m offer is on the table. I think Valencia are trying to get a replacement in the pipeline before they rubber stamp it.

Sturridge, Borini, Alberto, Hendo, Allen, Ibe, Sterling, Cissokho, Wisdom, Toure all in the squad.

Not too shabby.

I'd rather be starting Day 1 with Sturridge in the team than Aspas tbf

I really don't know why people do stuff like that.

It looks awful. Just my opinion of course...but it's one of those things where I can't even see why other people think it looks good.

Body art man, it's basically accessorizing, just permanently lol. Wear a nice watch, hat, sunglasses, shoes, bracelet. Almost the same.

Sturridge is great, but he's not the free-roamer Aspas is. Sturridge has always played best in the CF position for us, so I'd much rather he played there.

Having a competent alternative is no bad thing until we can manage his injuries better.

I think if it aligns with a person's personality, then it's fine. Becks pulls it off well I think.

Some pornstars can pull them off too. Others can't.

awful.

how much do you pay per month?

I'm new to tmo and I just ran a test, I'm sitting at 4.8 mbps. Baltimore was one of the recent LTE cities though. Loving this Xperia Z!

According to Mundo Deportivo, Brazilian fullback Dani Alves (30) will wear the number 22 next season in honour of Éric Abidal. Youngster Martín Montoya will take the number 2, Pedro will get Villa’s number 7 and Alex Song will wear number 17.

Both Cristian Tello and Sergi Roberto wanted Afellay’s number 20. In the end it was Tello who got his wish, Roberto will take number 24.

If Isaac Cuenca stays with the first team he will get number 23, leaving numbers 19 and 25 available for new signings.

Lol new signings :(

What the hell is going on with all the number changing. I nearly bought an Alves or Tello shirt yesterday. Would have been quite mad.

If Suarez does go to Arsenal, I suggest that when we play Arsenal, we change his usual chant of "you lnow what you are" to "he's your problem now" :p.

What's done is done.

I can imagine Wenger now, claiming that he didn't see the numerous dives. Or Lamenting his unfair treatment from referees.

He would shake things up.

I'd like to know where all the Viva_ITK posts went. If you had been posting transfer rumours we'd have signed a lot more players by now.
I'm having some teething problems with the Moyes regime. People who gave me solid info in the past are out of the loop, need to tap into some new sources or wait until my current peeps slip into Moyes' inner circle.

Don't worry, Viva_ITK lives on. But I won't post weak info.

I know that feel, have to wait until 4th october until my job starts, signed on today (might as well free money!).

I tried to sign on and they said no :(

Where you gonna be starting working?

BTW, who do you support? I'm sure you've been asked but I missed it.
