"United given encouragement that #Fabregas deal is possible I'm hearing. United remain confident this complicated deal this can happen #MUFC"

Hurry up and reject this new bid so we can move on.

Not even journos can resist the painfully tempting United windup.

Encouragement.

"United fee not believed to be the issue over #Fabregas deal, with player open to prospect of the move. Still in balance but possible #MUFC"

So when do Barca announce Cesc's new contract.

Ah so what everyone knew before a bid was even announced..... With Thiago gone and Xavi only getting older, Fabregas is going to have a bigger role in Barca coming up.

That guy is basically a big United fan who is just desperate for it to happen and he uses his position as a journalist to give false hope.

United probably are confident that it will happen.

That's the worrying thing.

I don't think they see him as Xavi's replacement. They tend to use him further up the pitch, similar to where Iniesta plays.

He has a choice. Either stay at Barca, play games here and there, not likely to start the big games. Maybe until next year or the year after.

Or

Move to United, get a pay rise to around £200,000 a week. Promise of regular football and a team built around him.

That decision was mind boggling. How can they give him out with nothing on hotspot, nothing on snicko and the video showing the huge gap between bat and ball.

Oh well.

Worth it for that fucker slug Warne oozing salt out of every botoxed pore

Actually, Casemiro have been the most surprising in pre-season.

Bale will slot in to the right with Ronaldo on the left and Benzema in attack. Ronaldo won't accept a striker position but Isco won't accept a bench role either.

And no, we won't go for Suarez or any attacker. We have Benzema, Morata, Jese and Ronaldo who can play that position.
This post reads like a Baghdad Bob update. Morata on his way to Spurs perhaps and Isco won't have a choice. This is the first phase of his punishment for betraying Manuel.

Simple choice.

"#Fabregas Barca contract brings loyalty bonus issues, but his advisers say move is possible. Hard to believe until deal done isn't it #MUFC"

I'm so bored now we have Soldado.

Who are we after now, I don't even know other than Chirches or whatever he is called but that looks off atm.

Is this what being an Arsenal and United fan feels like?

City V Bayern is free on BT Sport tonight, even if you haven't already signed up for BT Sport. Available on Sky, Freeview or BT TV. The channel launches at 6pm and the game is on after that.

Speaking of Chiriches, have you seen why the deal might be off? The clubs dickhead owner Gigi Becali (who's currently serving time for corruption) just veto'd it for no apparent reason. Here's his wikipedia summary by the way:

5 Controversies
5.1 Views on homosexuality
5.2 Legal action for discrimination against homosexuals
5.3 Xenophobia
5.4 Antisemitism
5.5 Violence
5.6 Various
6 Conviction

An impressive list...
