This explains the Soldado bid. No way we were going to buy two £20m strikers. Soldado, Ade and JD is enough for me. If we can't get him though we are fucked, there are no good forwards around except him, Higuain and Suarez. If we sign Damiao or Osvaldo I will kill myself.

I think it's best for Benteke, he doesn't want to become another Darren Bent. No need to move after one good season.

Yep, Soldado and Negredo were both from Real Madrid (Castilla). Soldado managed some games for the first team although Negredo did not (he signed to Castilla rather than being fully HG).
