Almost impossible to believe that Madrid will end up finishing below Barca. No one would have guessed that a few weeks ago.

City have had enough about them to pick enough points up against enough teams, across the season, rather than relying solely on 10 weeks of great form, or an exceptional record against the teams around them

Kroenke is not in the same stratosphere as Abramovich or the Sheikh. Further to that Kroenke is not pure liquid like either of them. He absolutely does not have the ability to put up the same level of spend as Abramovich. Not even close.

This also ignores the fact that Kroenke treats the club as a business/investment first and football club second, the opposite of the other two. He could not give a single FUCK about winning. As long as the the asset keeps on appreciating and FCF positive.

The idea that Kroenke will spend money is so comical that it's not even worth debating. The wider issue is why the utter utter cunts on the board did not sell to Usmanov, an odious cunt, but cash rich and looking for a plaything. Incredible. Would be the most incredible league win I remember. They've been awful since January, Messi has been playing like a zombie, they can't defend at all, yet they're favourites (imo)

Atletico will probably play for a clean sheet the way they've never played for a clean sheet before.

The original question by Meus was can we compete with the oil money. The answer is a resounding no. It has been a no for nearly a decade. The infuriating thing is we have oil money on the sidelines which we refused our selves access to. A horrendous state of affairs.
