Very, very good, our U21 team destroyed everybody last season and we were 2-0 up in the final at Old Trafford before Januzaj did his thing. This season the U21s have been weaker because all of last seasons youngsters are on loan or in the first team, but now the U18s are doing well and only narrowly lost their semi-final to Everton 1-0 after cruising through the league division.

There are a lot of Academy players good enough to play for the first team and that's a credit to Sherwood, giving Bentaleb and Kane their chance was the best thing he did. We spent £26m on Soldado but we had someone better than him in the youth team.

I dunno about that, there are a number of players currently in their squad who had a lot of hype as youngsters but never really made anything of themselves - speaking particularly of Witsel and Defour - who's to say the same thing won't happen with their current batch?

Further, they aren't going to get anywhere if the likes of Kompany and Fellaini don't go back to their best.
