No, that's not the point we're making. He's fantastic at making chances for his team mates, opening up space for them. He just isn't an extremely clinical finisher, which is unfortunate when you're a striker.

He and Giroud are quite similar players actually in terms of style. Benzema's better in all departments though.

No, that's not the point we're making. He's fantastic at making chances for his team mates, opening up space for them. He just isn't an extremely clinical finisher, which is unfortunate when you're a striker.

I genuinely don't think he's that great at making chances. He's great at giving them space, and giving them the ball to create their own chances imo

After passing the ball, he'd move into space receive it again and attack. He rarely does it anymore, and since, has gone downhill.

I guess how injury prone he is, is playing on the back of his mind constantly. So he's probably being a bit more conservative.
