Ramsey was the best player in Europe the first half of the season. He'll be fine. Vidal's been doing it consistently (admittedly in a moribund league) for a few years, Ramsey's got to keep up that level of performance to compare. I don't see any reason to believe he won't though; returned from injury without missing a beat.

Ramsey and Vidal are comparable. They both play the box-to-box role very well and Ramsey is starting to show promise, similar to what happened to Vidal in Leverkusen. If you can't compare Vidal to Ramsey then who in world football can you compare him too. Ramsey will do numbers again next season.

Lightning doesn't have to say or do anything. I'm comparing two players that play similar positions with similar influence on their teams. It'll take a full season of an injured Ramsey for the rest of footygaf to see the light. I'm not saying he's better than Vidal right now, but he is certainly not far away. At least not far away enough that comparing the two players should be seen as ridiculous. Not like I'm comparing Vidal to Fellaini or Wilshere or something.
