Medical delayed for logistical reasons, but deal is expected to be completed on fri/sat according to the echo. Thus far all our transfers are independent of the Suarez deal.

I think (hope) he can give us a solid 30-35 appearances this season. No European football will help him recover from week to week, and he won't be asked to play in early League and FA Cup games.
