To me, the plot was much simpler than this. She's (willingly) stuck in a two sided Bermuda triangle loop. No matter how hard she tries, she'll never save her son.

I've seen different opinions on this. I'm with the ones who think it's great. I'm having no problems driving cars in this game, even drifting is coming along nicely now.
