Some (potentially) great matches tonight. Might end up with 4-5 streams open again - the UCL Instant Highlights channel just doesn't cut it.

I don't follow Ajax, is it a good enough club to challenge Barca ?

You guys remember when Inter was actually a thing?

They were so good, I wasn't even mad when they beat us.
Oh no, you definitely fucked up that one.

There's a massive difference between Bayern's treble and Merda's.

Bayern was clearly the best team in the world and by a massive margin. Untouchable domestically and in Europe.

Merda BARELY won a dead league (fucking Roma was one game away from winning it ffs) and turtled their way to victory in Europe.

Fucking Bayern

FUCKING BAYERN MONACO

"Sky Italia are saying that Juventus made a bid for Anderson in the summer & They could try again in January"

Are we officially United's dumpster?

Really??? I never saw us as the best team in the world lol. We came through with some lucky punches against Fiorentina and Manchester before the final. And Inter just dominated it.

United's letters insist Sir Alex Ferguson's successor has a long-term plan and the full backing of its hierarchy and claim the club exceeded its usual transfer outlay this summer.

They also include a robust defence of Moyes and chief executive Ed Woodward.

The club also said it had achieved its two primary objectives of the window - keeping Wayne Rooney and adding a central midfielder to the squad.

The United letter states: "The club had two main priorities for the transfer window. The first was to keep Wayne Rooney. He is a world-class player and the manager is very keen to have Wayne as a key part of the club's drive to retain the Premier League trophy. That aim was fulfilled.

"The second priority was to add a midfield player, and the capture of Fellaini has met that need.

"Add to that the fact that Wilfried Zaha is a new signing and that the manager has added the highly-rated young player Adnan Janazaj to the squad and the team does in fact have a different feel to it than the one that finished last season.

"The club has invested over £40m acquiring new players this summer, as well as re-signing Nani on a long term deal - more than it has traditionally spent on transfers.

"Additional resources were there to add to that but it was not possible to agree with other clubs for the right players to leave. The key point there is that the players we buy have to be the right ones for Manchester United; not just any player.

"The club has always backed the manager in the transfer market, as Sir Alex has said on many occasions and it will continue to do so. The club has demonstrated its belief in, and commitment to, David Moyes through the award of a six year contract.

"Allowing him to shape the future Manchester United team is a long term project not an eight-week panic. He must be given time to assess his new squad and come to his own decisions on which players he feels will strengthen it."

United confirmed the letter, signed on behalf of director of communications Phil Townsend, had come from the club and insisted it was standard procedure to respond to fans who write in on a variety of topics concerning club business.

A spokesman said: ""The reply went to those who wrote to Ed Woodward and people who sent emails to the enquiries inbox. We have a responsibility under our Club Charter to respond to all correspondence in 15 working days."

tl;dr "KEEPING ROONEY AND NANI IS LIKE HAVING EXPENSIVE NEW SIGNINGS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

I was comparing Jupp's Bayern with Mou's Merda.

Viola were the moral deserved legacy winners in 2010.

"We managed to keep a want away cunt by employing Phil Jones to kick the fuck out of his head, we overpaid for a player whose defining ability is being able to harbour families of mice in his hair and we signed a 20 year six months before the new manager took over who hasn't actually played him yet"

And then they draw attention to that

Fuck I hope we can kill two birds with one stone and we get snaps of Ashley going down on Woodward soon. Young, not Mike. Although the alternative would be amusing too.

I don't even like Man-U and it bothers me that a club that big would use the "like a new signing" bullshit to officially defend a bad transfer window. You're better than that.

Dont forget Juve... We were basically out at the time. We had incredible luck with the CL draw... We wouldnt have had a chance against Barca, Inter or Chelsea at the time. The game against Fiorenta was totally random. Without the wind there Robbens shot would have benn saved by the goalie and Manu lost the knockout because they were fine with a draw in Munich.

Agreed! But it was a fun season. All those up and downs. Robbens goal against Manchester back then is one for the ages.

It was. But only because it was unexpected. A year before we lost 0:4 at Camp Nou and were destroyed by fucking Wolfsburg...
But you could see that the team had some potential after van Gaals tactics worked.

Ps: Bayern quadruple!

Bayern quintett after wining the team world cup :)

Probable line-up vs. Celtic (4-3-1-2): Abbiati; Zaccardo-Zapata-Mexes-Constant; Nocerino-De Jong-Muntari; Birsa; Balotelli-Matri.

Honda was pretty disappointing yesterday. Maybe it was just not his day but I expected much more to be honest

I want to believe that he just doesn't want to play with CSKA anymore. Also, playing at the Allianz Arena isn't easy, plus a lot of players gets easily trashed by Bayern (Messi, just to name one) when they play in Germany.

One thing I don't like about gta, is how small the crosshairs is. As it's basically just a white dot, I keep losing it on the screen if it does not automatically snap to an enemy.
