Agreed, Ronaldo will definitely hit that mark -- he's probably halfway there I'd guess. I think Bale will end up with a similar number of goals as he had at Spurs last year though and he won't have to completely carry his team to get there. The level of talent around him now is going to elevate his game even further.

Regarding that season Ronaldo had at 23, it was unbelievable but it also was a bit of an outlier for him in the PL and it's a lot easier to score a ton of goals when your teammates are fantastic. If defenses have to worry about Carlitos Tevez and Wayne Rooney as well, you're going to get your chances. Bale had no one in support really.

Yes he was (the best player in the PL). And in that little window of time (early 2013) when he was scoring unbelievable goals every week and just lifting the team onto his back and winning games on his own, he was playing at a higher level than Ronaldo was IMO.
