Prisoners was fucking top, too. Still looking forward to the Counsellor despite the bad reviews and ofc 12 Years a Slave. Need more Fass in my life.

Not too fond of the last third tbh, but the first with gosling especially is great. It's not an amazing film, 8/10 stuff. Not been the best year so far but I haven't seen much to be honest. There's a bunch I need to get round to.

My housemate works as the analyst for Scunthorpe and had to go down to the game this morning via police escort. Absolute shite that it's not on TV over fucking Northampton and Bishops Whatever.

Where is Prisoners!?

Stoker was a brilliantly polished turd. I had fun watching it, it was GORGEOUS and the acting was SUPERB! But fuck me, what the FUCK kinda B story was that? MGS-level bad.

Place Beyond the Pines was good, on paper.

Captain Phillips was better than Place Beyond Da Pines. Thinking back that mardy Gotze looking kid in the final third killed it for me.

Just never got round to it; the only time I had to go to the cinema was in between things and it was like 2 and a half hours long so I never got to fit it in :(

Stoker was awesome. Was like a 50s movie melodrama lol.

About Martinez:

I hope I am wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he doesn't work as the sole number 6 in Pep's system. I fear his offensive capabilities are not enough.

Don't get me wrong, though. I rate him incredibly highly and still think Schweini-Martinez were an unstoppable combination. But for a sole number 6, I find Schweini lacking defensively, while Javi has the opposite problem. Lahm, however...
