That reminds me.

The amount of absolute bellends these days with tiny denim shorts ffs. Was disgraceful at the match today.

Yeah Leverkusen won the Bundesliga.

I would be ok with it, but they probably will drop points because they don't have the necessary depth to compete with Bayern or Dortmund. I think Dortmund will win it this time. Guardiola has no clue of what he's doing, he's just trying things week in and week out

Fucking Szczęsny with his dopey GK led to that goal.

+ Taking it away from Flamini.

Seriously? Szczesny had a good game today. Saved the Silva and Dzeko one-on-ones.

He's always gonna go for that ball. Even if Flamini is screaming he's got it, he's on the move and, instinctively, it's gonna be difficult to stop. He was centimetres away from getting a full hand to it.

Pellegrini looks like he has constantly red eyeballs. Like he's either incredibly drugged out or hasn't slept in weeks

The Costa effect

Good game or not, his shit GK lead to the goal. Actually, the standard from both keeper's was shit when it came to GK's/distribution.

Really disappointed we didn't win today.

Oh piss off Shearer, what about City's fullbacks? Clichy let Wilshere stroll past him for the first goal and Zableta left Sanchez unmarked for the second.

It's not just the depth, they play too risky.

When a reporter compared Leverkusen style with Dortmund, Klopp said that Dortmund wouldn't act so reckless.
The problem for Dortmund was, they didn't punish Leverkusen when they offered the space and they tried to push through via normal counters.
Bremen just used long balls and exposed them not only once, and you know how shitty Bremen is.

I'm curious who will be on top.
Bayern and Dortmund already got their spots, Schalke is a mess with all the injuries and Leverkusen will have to adept or they will face some problems.
Gladbach is a serious contender for the top spots.

Wolfsburg is far from being ready and I don't see anyone else.

stop blaming Szczczczcsexsny m8. It's a shitty defense that gets caught sleeping all the time.

True but the thing that bothers me the most is when we just let teams play.

No closing down, just admiring the oppositions football.

Really unacceptable at this level.

Haha Pellegrini moaning about the ref, Fernandinho should have been sent off.
Cunt moaning about the referee, moaning that we got an easier CL draw than City. Forever a moaning fool.

City will shit the bed this season. It's already started so he may as well get his excuses and bitching started.

Spoke to somebody today who insisted that Isaac Hayden will make the first team eventually, as DMF. Bellerin and Akpom the other ones most likely to make the step up.

Amazing article by the BBC. They go in hard at Real Madrid

http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/29176277

As he has done on so many occasions, the Portuguese forward created his own scoring opportunity, by tumbling in the box under minimum contact from Guilherme Siquiera, before converting it by sending goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya the wrong way.
Minimum contact?

BBC writers must have watched a different game. He was clearly kicked from what I saw.

Thanks. Really, really spot on with the bits about fitness. Some of the best players in the world looking tired and performing Ozil-esque feats of disappearance.

I guess that's where he got it from. Dat Real DNA.

Only just catching up with today's football watching Match of the Day. Arsenal finally showed up against a big team and I captained Diego Costa in FPL, so good so far.

We played incredibly sheit today but this guy finally did what we got him for. And the competition is losing left and right. All is good in the world.

Bellerin has a chance because of the Debuchy injury. That Arsene was willing to loan out Jenkinson also shows he rates him.

Even with the defensive midfield options Arsenal have, I can't see Hayden going beyond Eastmond/Frimpong levels and, similarly, I don't see Akpom getting a run of games with the forward options at the moment.

I use to take more of an interest in the younger players at Arsenal (back when they use to field a team of 18/19 year olds in the Carling Cup). Now, though, if they aren't pushing for the first-team by the time they're like 19, I assume they haven't made the grade unfortunately. There's been so many "next big things" at Arsenal. Although, I'm sure every club has their equivalent to Fran Merida, Nacer Barazite, etc.
