I was a big fan of it before Juve used it. I always wanted Arsenal to switch to years back. the problem with 3-5-2 though is you need an intelligent DM player to make it work. Juve didn't have one so it was why we were so easily ripped apart by Munich. Now Conte has DDR who should be good enough to stop us getting hit on the counter. The lack of a good DM at Arsenal is why it would have been foolish to use and it is why it will fail at United.
