'71 was a good film. Gritty and tense, me liked.

Anyone looking for something to watch that isn't Gone Girl go see it, providing somewhere near you is showing it. See how lovely Northern Ireland was 40 years ago.

Lovely little piece on Arsenal here, one I entirely agree with, and I think a lot of people also will:

Soft team. Miles away from winning the league.

Concerns me when I look at our squad. Who are those characters. I don't see them - maybe some of them will grow into the roles but that's hope speaking.

Still can't believe they flipped their shit the way they did after we beat them that day. Wouldn't swap shirts cos they had 50 not out vests on underneath looooooool. Apparently Fergie told all the players to make sure they asked to swap shirts because of that. Fergie man, what a lovely old shitface he was.

World's best cuisines

1. Mexican
2. French
3. Chinese
4. Italian
5. Vietnamese

I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to guess what I think is number 1 :p

You not a fan of Japanese food?

I've not had much Vietnamese food, but I think Japanese food is better. Can't argue with his list though. Mexican food is goat.

I haven't tried Peruvian food yet.

Sushi alone can't carry Japanese food. If we're talking about which country has the best food, then it's Japan. But all the best food in Japan is originally from other countries. Japanese food would be maybe 7 or 8 if I ranked the top 10. Ethiopian outranks it.

Vietnamese food, like Chinese food, has a huge variety of flavors and textures and is amazing at the lowest and highest price ranges. Anyone who has ever dated a Vietnamese girl knows it. Those family banquets are absolute food heaven.

"Following the latest ‘information’ appeared in the media over the last few days, I want to clarify a few things,” wrote Vidal in Spanish on Twitter.

“My rapport with everyone at Juventus is very good. My teammates, the coaching staff and the directors have trust in me and I in them.

“The club did not fine me. The reports on this are erroneous and in many cases done with malice.

“My knee is very good. With hard work I will reach my best physical form, but I was recovering from an operation and have therefore not been able to complete the same pre-season training schedule as my teammates.

“I am 100 per cent committed to my club and to Chile. I hope to win titles with both these teams.

“I hope that with this comment I have correctly informed everyone. I am sure the malicious people out there will continue to lie, but I cannot do anything to avoid that.

“Hugs, Arturo.”

can we invade England?

Do you count Ramen as Japanese? I'm just asking because it originated in China, but became it's own thing in Japan.

Also, if any of you motherfuckers haven't seen Tampopo, get on it.

No lies detected. Great food porn.

Ramen is Chinese for sure. Calling Ramen Japanese would be like calling Pizza American. You can make an argument for it but I think it'd be better just to go off the truer origin.

Just bought a new foam mattress pad. Was almost a thousand bucks but probably well worth it in the long run. Can't wait to actually get some good sleep.

this is incredibly funny :lol :lol :lol

'I didn't say that, you don't listen really well :>'

'why do you always want to blame ppl? :>"

reporter: a lot of Arsenal supporters are looking at the fact that there wasn't another CB or a defensive central midfielder signed in the summer, can you understand why they say that?
Wenger: I can understand everything :>
Wenger: you've been at the game today I dunno why you come up with...such a question when you have seen the game today :> I don't think our 'problem' was there today :>
reporter:..but you said "there was a problem in defence with conceding too many goals"....
Wenger: Y-yesh.

Will Wenger still be allowed to continue if Arsenal doesn't win anything this season?

why wouldn't he? He's showing them the money

Hell I think I'm gonna buy me some Arsenal FC shares tomorrow

Maybe it depends if Klopp will be available after the end of this season. I doubt he wants to coach a second division team next year.

Bla please control yourself :lol this is like me hating on Roma or something

Daily Fail had an article today that said City and Arsenal were both very interested in Pep for next season.

actually Sir Kloppo is EXACTLY the type of guy who would stick with his team in the 2nd division.

Not Bayern material that one <3

Could happen.

But both used the new Pep book as a source. And Pep was always interested in the EPL. Let's see.

Maybe we're going for Klopp then

I bet you get Ancelotti after Madrid doesn't win anything this season.

I always prepare for the worst, like Alonso going to Bayern.

I can see that happen. The Bundesliga is a good stats booster. You win the league in a different country, and you can still compete with your team in the CL.

Holy sh..

I just checked. Dortmund are in the 14th spot.

Even shitty teams like augsburg are higher lol.

It's beautiful, innit?

They implemented a Sunday-bonus at my office last month meaning anyone* that shows up for 1+ hour on a Sunday will receive a bonus of €1000. It used to be so quiet on Sundays but now it's more crowded than on the weekdays. Unfortunately that means I have to be/look productive today whereas I'd usually just turn up, drink my coffee and read a paper or something. Can't even watch a football stream with my superior watching over my shoulder.

*Anyone ≠ me

Finishing outside the top 4 is a bigger concern than trophies. We may only have Sanchez for 1 season if we can't turn this shit around. I am not that worried about it at the moment but it could become an issue if things continue.

Wenger will never be fired either way, Only way he is not our manager is if that is his choice.

The problem I see with Wenger is that he had a lot of money available for signings, this is usually the biggest block for teams looking to win titles.

If you leave money on the table and your team performs like a mid table team...

Arsenal could've got Khedira easily and cheap (probably 10-15m) this past summer, why didn't that happen? Miranda and Godin from Atletico are both under a ~30m buyout clause, why didnt they get a good CB?

Arsenal would be a much much better team right now for less than 40M euros.

I think he needs a break, but he's probably too proud to admit that.

With Wenger it's complicated. Khedira is not the answer, he's injured too much. Someone like Schneiderlin and a cb like Schar and we would be better and should get rid of Podolski, Campbell and Flamini and as such would not increase our wages and improve our squad.

Problem with Arsenal is that Wenger doesn't adapt well to changes. Tactics are outdated, every team knows exactly what we are going to do, no plan B when tactics don't work. It's not all in the transfers, our starting 11 against Hull should have won. This wasn't a transfer issue, it was a tactic and player issue.

Mertesacker for example gave the 2nd key goal away not one of the youngsters. The transfer market is not the only solution all the time.
