Didn't see the Martins thing :/ Sorry to hear that man! I always liked you playing LW on FIFA, you should come back sometime if we ever play again!

Got tickets to the Capital One Cup semi final against Liverpool for me and Steverulez. Looking forward to it, I haven't been since the home game against Villa cause of being ill.

Tickets for FF pls.

Quiche you don't post here as much anymore.

I'm sorry if I ever made you feel unwelcome

of course not haha. I usually don't post when Chelsea are playing cause I just watch the game, I only post during Chelsea games if I am watching on a shitty stream anyway or like the FA Cup game was and only on the radio. I don't have many interesting things to say.

Sporting is lining up with this 11 for the match against Braga.

Rui Patricio, Cedric, Mauricio, P.Oliveira, Jefferson, William, Adrien, João Mário, Carrilo, Nani and Montero

This would always be a big match for me but when I woke up this morning I never could imagine that it would have an huge emotional impact in me. My grandfather was the one who made me so interested in Sporting, he was a huge fan and I started following them because of him. There was a point in my life where I lived with my grandparents and the match day was always exciting. Most of the times he didn´t want me to watch the game with him because all my fussing around and complaining to the TV made him even more nervous so he would stay in the living room and I would go to another TV near his bedroom but every time Sporting scored we would run to each other, hug it out in the middle of the corridor and then we would back to our respective spots for the rest of the match.
Due to me living more than 1000 kms away and some family discussions between me and my grandmother, we drifted apart a bit. I last talked to him 4 months ago and all though things weren´t all fixed up between us, he was so happy to be talking to me and told me how much he loved me.
Earlier today, my father told me he had bad news for me...I couldn´t believe it at first, I rushed to the computer and searched for it on the internet...The news articles kept popping up but I still couldn´t believe it. I turned the TV on and searched through the recording of the news until it appeared on the screen. There it was, my grandparents apartment and a fire truck on the outside. I kept reading the headline over and over again : "86 old man died in a fire in his bedroom"...
5 hours and I´m still a bit shocked. It´s surreal opening news sites and seeing that news on almost all of them.
I´ll be sitting down in a bit to watch the match, hoping that he would be there sitting with me. Today there won´t be cheers in the goals, no more hugs in the middle of the corridor...
Every Sporting match will feel a bit more special now, it was one of the things that bonded us and I have so many great memories of Sporting matches with him.

Thank you for everything, grandfather.
I love you

Really sorry to hear about this. Touching story.

I find everything you say interesting. Or should I say nobody has anything interesting to say lol

Ever since you forced me to buy Fifa 14 it hasn't been the same. Haha just kidding mate lol.

You should post more though.

That doesn't stop anyone else in Footy-GAF

fair enough haha, the problem I have is I end up playing so many games with people on GAF I never actually check it as often anymore. I'm also not as funny as most people in here haha.

Angel Di Maria's game by numbers: 0% shot accuracy 0% take-ons completed 0% crosses completed 0 key passes 60% pass accuracy.

Madrid make a killing selling invisible attacking midfielders to English clubs.

The main reason I still post here is cause I have met a bunch of honestly great people and had some great fun with everyone I have met. from Football GAF alone I am 6/6 of meeting people and not getting raped/murdered so I am on a lucky streak. I only got to go to one game abroad last year cause of being ill but this year I am planning to go to Munich and probably Vitesse if I can sort out a way to get tickets. I can't make my mind up on who to see in Portugal. Benfica, Sporting and Porto all sound like they would be fun.

I compare you to fady.

It is like you 2 are the same person

high praise indeed. Fady made a great thread with all the upcoming Vita games recently, it was amazing

But Fady actually plays games, Quiche just buys them.

Loooool

Dont hate me Quiche

why would I hate, it's the truth.

are we gala?

I like the home kit, it would be better with only 1-2 sponsors but still looks good. Send me one m8

lol, there's THREE sponsors on the front, TWO on the shoulders and ANOTHER THREE on the back

Its a fucking ridiculous kit and I will not be buying it for myself or for anyone else

And yes I'm aware I'm part of the problem of why we need 8 fucking sponsors in the first place

Edit: there's probably two on the fucking sleeves but I don't recall. 10 sponsors on a kit. Absolutely sensational.

Benitez “We all know Juve are a very strong side, that is beyond doubt,” a visibly irritated Benitez told Sky Sport Italia.

“They taught me a phrase when facing Juventus: ‘It can happen.’ On the offside it is very difficult to tell, as Maggio is right behind Caceres, so it is very tough. It can happen.

“I say when the team recovered its intensity and got back into the game, we conceded that goal. It can happen.

“I 100 per cent believe the decisions were in good faith. Chiellini is offside and jumps, so he is interfering with play. Last season it was 15cm, this time it was millimetres.

“The Koulibaly goal that was disallowed – it can happen. Koulibaly jumped, the goalkeeper fell into him, it was Buffon’s momentum that took him towards the defender. It is not a foul.

“Juve are a very strong side and can win the Scudetto, but we are allowed to complain. Anyway, I don’t want to talk about refereeing decisions, especially after losing 3-1. I have the right to be angry at the way the game went, we can make all the comments and analysis we want, but in the end we still lost.

“There was another incident too, when Buffon picked up a back-pass from Chiellini. When the team works so hard, I don’t enjoy losing like this.”

Napoli are surely now out of the Scudetto race and fell one point behind Lazio in the fight for third.

“If we had won this match, then there would’ve been talk of the Scudetto. We did not win it. We have to give 100 per cent to reach their level and if something goes wrong, then we fall behind.
sensational mental gymnastics.

“I say that Juventus will win the Scudetto. After seeing so many Juventus games, that is all I can say,” smiled the Coach.

“I am sorry for Roma, but I realised Juventus will win the Scudetto...”

Please leave Italy.

here's the rest of Allegri's quote that the English media conveniently overlopked

“He has excellent qualities, but he has to show them off. He can only help himself by making sacrifices, otherwise he’ll lose his way.

“Would I like to have Balotelli in my team again? I always like to have talented players, but he needs to get back to being important for Liverpool.”

Tuttosport also claim Juve’s response to the offer of a six-month Balo loan was “tepid.”

Man Utd:
Under Moyes = 21 games and 37pts
Under LvG = 21 games and 37pts
with Di Maria, Rojo, Falcao & free weekdays

Perception is everything.

This is such a classic example of "I'm not gonna say it, but I'm saying it" whining, they should teach it in schools. Well, in Rome an Neaples they probably do.

Caceres' goal would've been offside by centimeters in any case, the funny thing though is that it actually wasn't offside.

l8IOpgW.jpg

Now *this*, dear waiter, was an offside goal. Remember, from last season? No? Dat selective memory.

JZp7Ub6.jpg

Of course, no one from Juve complained, because it was a fringe case anyway and we lost fair and square, just like you did yesterday.

Fuck you, Rafa. Fuck you, De Laurentiis. Fuck you, Napoli. Classless bunch of lying whining cunts.

What do you say Man U bros... What do we do next.

Win games.

Honestly, I am much more happier under LVG than Moyes. 3-5-2 isn't ideal but at least overall we have improved.

Now to get a better winger/holding midfielder and figure out whether Rafael is worth his injury proneness.

Yesterday was merely when your luck ran out

And by luck, I mean De Gea saving your arses against all odds

Maybe.

Big differences between Moyes and Van Gaal though, and one is that United are playing well against the big teams. Moyes' United got crushed, for the most part. Lost home and away to Liverpool, lost heavily to Man City, etc.

Van Gaal's United maybe aren't an improvement on points, but at least they're holding their own in big games (even though I maintain we outplayed them severely at OT, and were unlucky to score on a few occasions).
