How does LVG not think playing 3-5-2 gives us twitchy bum considering how shit we've been in every game?

How does he not think 4-3-3 is an option?

I don't get it. I don't get how he doesn't see it.
Well we have been pretty comfortable in the 352 for the most part, at least compared to the heart attacks we had with 442. We've only conceded like 6 in the last 13 games or something I read.

But it's come at the cost of our attack.

I said this last week too but the thing thats frustrating right now is that the player roles just aren't fitting. I wasn't keen on it a few months ago but I really wanna see Carrick in the back 3 now. Him or Daily, but preferably Carrick. And Rafael back in ahead of Valencia who probably even manages fucks up his breathing these days.

We've let in less goals, sure. But three draws in a row, extremely lucky to win at Southampton and Arsenal... And we're playing half our team in the wrong position.

Agreed on Carrick/Blind. Just far more composed than everyone else back there.

In better news, I may have found an amazing solution to my streaming problems. I'll have to wait until there's a game on to test it but if it works... omg

I was watching highlights of Liverpool's 5-2 win over Derby in the FA Youth Cup. They played a 334 formation.

lol. there are more chances of Ronaldo returning then us getting Pogba. It would be one thing if were the only club in the world that could offer him the huge wages and transfer that Juve and his agent will ask for, but there are least 4 other clubs who can do so. All things equal money wise why would he pick the team that slighted him. I dont want to think about this anymore, just makes me salty.

Yeah this makes sense, but

Also, the club didn't slight him. Fergie didn't play him enough and he is no longer the manager. It's not as if United just told him to pack his bags. They offered him another contract and he didn't trust Fergie would play him enough based on the 2012 season evidence. Also, not many clubs can afford him because of FFP. United are rich.

If he plays he is gonna play him at LWB.

Do you know if Harrop has been playing lately or is he still injured? The last I heard of him he was RT'ing pics of ass.

Harrop came back from injury in the last match the u21s played and I believe he scored.

Rodgers puts Sterling in striker position to inject speed into the team, Van Gaal does too. Rodgers puts Can at 3rd center back position to improve ball playing from the back, Van Gaal does too.

Get your own ideas you copier.

weren't you guys still using the 4-2-3-1 at least? I would take that in a heartbeat over 3-5-2.

We had a DM playing as CB, another DM playing as LB. Meanwhile he played a LB/LM as DM, and fucking Ottl. And the tactics were clearly not working at all.

3-5-2 is here for the rest of the season, United bros.

LvG gets the back page spread for all the papers tomorrow. Says our defending when playing 4-4-2 gives him a twitchy ass.

never pegged LVG for a coward. we've been serving up some utter dross with 3-5-2

Yeah but he's been played there out of necessity before, so in my mind, he doesn't count. Also I forgot.
Morsel - is it right that when wearing a suit you should avoid wearing a belt if possible? As in, the trousers should fit wel" enough that you don't need a belt?

I would've loved to have this thread during the Maradona years.

EnglandGAF's tears over the Hand of God :lol

Damn, that would've been amazing. By the next goal all of them would've started believing he was God too. Tears rolling down their cheeks. So many mixed emotions.

I think ideally, yes, you want trousers that fit perfectly so you don't need one, but even if you don't need one, IMO you should still wear one. Going belt-less is kind of a recent trend, and it works okay if you aren't wearing a tie. But if you're going to wear the full get-up (tie, suit, watch, dress shoes, pocket square), you really need a belt IMO.

Can opt for braces instead, but most trousers have belt loops in them, and I've always thought it looks really goofy to attach your own braces onto pants that already have belt loops.

Kind of a matter of taste though, and some people say it's a rule that you absolutely must wear a belt with your suit.
