I don't necessarily see how it is either, it's just how it would have been framed if City had been the club involved and not Utd.
Roberts is on an 18 month loan at Celtic. Had a great start with them in the past few months -- scored some absolute bangers. He's skipping the U-19 Euros this summer to play in Celtic's UCL qualifiers.

Utd have a history of bringing through and buying youth and giving them a chance, City do not have that same level of history so the reporting of those kind of stories are going to be different. Especially when those youngsters don't do themselves any favours at the club like Zaha and Powell did.
I saw Roberts in the flesh against Palace in the Capital One Cup. He doesn't look at an inch over 5 foot and looks like he weighs 7 stone wet in a monsoon. If he makes it in the Premier League i'll be amazed.
