You can post your predictions here in the thread for all to see. If you could then PM me a link to your post to insure that I don't accidentally pass over it that would be great.

Well he's gone.

Di Maria said: “I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain. What I know about PSG is that they are a team who have won all possible titles in France last season. They're very important.

"They made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League so my objective was to arrive to Paris and to help them through the quarter-final barrier, because they have struggled in the past two seasons.

"I will try to do the best I can to help the club in those objectives and reach the final stages of the Champions League."

The papers are going hard with Pedro to United tomorrow.

Think we'll finish 5th, a distance short of 4th. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we finish 6th again, Spurs have finished above us 5 of the last 6 years.

EPL:

1) City (No ACN and no Yaya drama means Beast Mode Yaya all season)
2) Chelsea
3) Man-U (I really like their midfield)
4) Arsenal (are they seriously rolling with Giroud as their 9?)
5) Spurs
6) Liverpool (should be fun and score a lot but that back 4 is a calamity and Rodgers seems fraudulent)

La Liga:

1) Barcelona
2) Atletico
3) Sevilla
4) Real Madrid (unless Rafa is fired early then the interim manager
Zidane
will get them 3rd)

Serie A:

1) Roma
2) Juventus (where are the goals going to come from without Tevez and Vidal?)
3) who gives a shit

Think City are more likely to finish 5th than 1st tbh

I think they'll surprise a few people this year. They are traditionally slow starters and I expect no different this year but they will be up there as usual come the last 2 months of the season.

Its Man United I'm not really convinced about to be honest.

For City I just think if Aguero gets injured, they forget poor Yaya again and the captain is playing as if submerged in potato salad, they might not do too well.

And who else have they signed apart from shitcunt from Pool?

Oddly if the Pedro deal goes through the only real concern I have left for this season at United is a lack of a quality experienced CB.

Schneid, Schwein/Carrick, Mata/Prospect

Pedro, Rooney, Depay

Could do some damage.

If Rooney gets injured Man United are fucked.

If Chelsea are without Costa for an extended period they are fucked.

If City are without Aguero for too long they are fucked.

If Coquelin gets injured we are fucked.

The way I see it, all the top teams are just 1 injury in a particular area of the field away from being screwed. Could this be Liverpool's year?

Think we(Arsenal) will go for a striker now that we sent out Akpom on loan yesterday to Hull.

Just really don't know who is realistically available for us to buy.

I think Chelsea would need Hazard to be out personally. Costa was out for chunks and they still ground results out with Hazards pace and ability.

With Liverpool, if Sturridge can a) keep fit and b) recapture his 13/14 form, Benteke settles and they can retain some sense of solidity at the back, they can fight for it in theory.

But not having the driving force of a 13/14 Gerrard (despite his slips) might me an issue in the centre of the pitch. They'd also need to get decent points against the top 4.

Who else do City have up front apart from Aguero and Bony?

I know Jov and Dzeko have gone.

It's not just then surely, if so they must be looking at someone.

Why do you think that? I'm not sure Akpom was that close to the first team this season really. Giroud, Welbeck and Walcott would all play up front ahead of him so it's not like he's leaving a gap.

Indeed. I still think something is going to happen mate

Akpom just went to Hull on a loan which means we dont have any strikers left

Are you thinking of what im thinking?

If it starts with a B and he's partially named after a luxury German automobile I'm not believing it haha.

Wenger now thinks he has a competitive team because they finally won Chelsea and won't look for a striker

Genius move by Mourinho one more time.

The wily old bastard dun bamboozled Wenger again./s

At least he proved himself for several years with Liverpool.

Di Maria just straight belly flopped in England.

BPL Predictions

1. Chelsea (squad is settled and too good)
2. Arsenal (will be very close but we're still a couple players behind)
3. Manchester City (average campaign ahead)
4. Manchester United (have bought to just steady top 4 status)

5. Liverpool
6 Spuds
7. Everton

18. Aston Villa
19. Watford
20. Bournemouth

3 competitons for Wolfsburg will come at a price and if de Bruyne leaves things will get worse. I see Gladbach and Leverkusen as hardest contender this season. Dortmund has a lot to make up and I hope they come back into the top 4. Bayern looks strong and bought the missing pieces and they will only fail if Pep fails as coach and Klopp takes over.

But what about Schalke? Oh yeah, no one gives a shit because they suck. Fuck Schlacke.

I think Bournemouth are going to surprise some people. If they play the way they did last year (and they should) they'll easily avoid the drop.

Prediction? This is more like a fact.

Not even us Arsenal fans think we'll win the league.

Yeah, the thing is most Arsenal fans I talk to aren't deluded.

We know the squad is in the best shape it's been since 2007/2008 (Eduardo the GOAT) but we're still missing a couple key players.

Also we know consistency and injuries are always an issue with us.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!

0-2 Astana - HJK (0-2 aggregate) after 40 minutes. We are about to secure Europa league and if things stay as they are, we would only have one more tie to reach CL.

Imagine that, a Finnish team in CL for the first time since 1998!

Edit : And right after I write this they score. 1-2 God dammit.
