Unless Griezmann signs an extension I think this far from the last we will hear this. If he stays oh well
Griezmann is obviously a big Galáctico signing but honestly that £70M+ could be better spent on improving the squad as a whole, in my opinion.

I'm upset. Griezmann would've been ace.

From L'Equipe, who are usually spot on about Arsenal

Manchester City, Real Madrid and a third club have positioned themselves in the race for Kylian Mbappé

https://twitter.com/BilelGhazi/status/870379378328444928
The third club after Kylian Mbappé is Arsenal, who have made a first offer of €100m for the Monaco forward.

Roughly translated: About Lacazette, basically says they're making preliminary steps for Lacazette. Mbappé is the primary target. Worth noting this is a club record bid.
...the London club expects a tough competition on the record and he explores in parallel the track that leads to Alexander Lacazette, the Olympique Lyonnais striker. But he keeps the conviction of being able to fight on a file that concerns a young prodigy that he has been following for several years

Wenger also said this about Mbappé in March by the way:
I approached him last year because I really believe he has an exceptional future, that he has all the qualities.

Absolutely ridiculous. To spend that much money on a kid who has had one great season? Sure he could be awesome but there's just as much chance of him being the 100 million euro flop of the season.

I tell you Griezmann is going nowhere. He has a close bond to Simeone, and will want to fight with him. They have an exciting project going on and a new stadium to open soon.

Milan now offering Donnarumma €4.5m per year. With Musacchio, Kessie, and potentially Morata/Belotti, I'm hoping he stays.

He'll definitely stay at Milan. That's his dream club. Gonna be interesting what they're gonna build up there.

Seeing that he's a Real Madrid fan since childhood, and looking up to Zidane with Ronaldo being his idol, he would definitely try and approach Real Madrid, and our president said "never say never" just last month. But I'm not sure how interested we really are in this kid. Morata would have to be shipped out, and Zidane is doing his utmost to convince Morata to stay. If Mbappe really wants a move this summer, I could see him go elsewhere.

Manchester United and Inter have found an agreement for Perisic for 52m€ according to Gazzetta dello Sport

You can tell Peter Moore has been in the video game industry. Goes down the checklist of things you wanna let your "fans" know.

He better dazzle United supporters right off the bat or he is in for a world of abuse. Can't believe the fee being more then what was originally rumored (45 million euro).

Make or break season for Rashford and Martial.

Definitely a make or break season for Martial. Perisic signing could see Martial play more as a CF or Striker but nothing from last year suggests that Mourinho trusts him. I can't see Mourinho going into the season with just those two up front, he is going to sign one of Belotti or Lukaku.

£28m bid for Salah rejected. Roma want around £35m for him (as per Joyce) so even we shouldn't be able to fuck this one up. Probably.

Salah, Firmino, and Manè up top with Phil and Lallana supporting them from midfield. Lads we're going full heavy metal next season.

Hopefully we can get Keita too. A Coutinho, Henderson and Keita midfield would be GOAT.

I think it's £75m. IIRC the sponsorship deal is £750m over 10 years.
Potato, tomato.

Sunderland just got paid more for being relegated than Leicester City got last year for winning the PL.

£5m is nothing in that world lol.

Edit: sorry this looks gash, am on mobile. Brackets are games shown on TV.

Looks like Tammy Abraham to Newcastle is pretty much a done deal.

If it's Gayle, Abraham and another new striker to really compete for the starting 11 then I'd be fine with that.

I hope we sign some proven PL players as well as these Chelsea rejects.

Liverpool supporters must be over the moon now, seeing Gayle get back in the PL. :D

L'Equipe is reporting van Bronckhorst will be Dortmund's next manager.

BILD says no.
I would love to see van Bronckhorst at Dortmund but I think he should move to one of the top 4 in Europe (Real, Barça, Juve, Bayern) instead whenever he has the occasion to do so and to stay at Feyenoord meanwhile.

Scratch Juve away from that lol. As Juventus rarely appoint manager that is not proven yet for Serie A.

Exciting prospect with Henderson behind Phil and Lallana. Some much needed squad depth with Wijnaldum, Can, Grujic and hopefully Milner being moved back into midfield.
Probably need another forward though if Phil's playing further back next season. Sturridge will be injured within the first few weeks if he stays and that leaves Origi as the only other forward.

I'd still like a proper no nonsense holding midfielder though if that was possible.
