Let's not go fully hyperbole just because of a missed penalty and a poor 20 minutes, but if anyone from Chelsea thinks Morata right now is anywhere near Diego Costa talent wise, they are in for a big nightmare.

Unless you are José Luis Chilavert you shouldn't be taking (attacking) set pieces. Unless it's by numerical force (running out of defenders to take penalties).
Boring because? It's still penalties, the only difference is that both teams are on equal levels regarding pressure, not on different levels because of a coin flip.
And this way both teams have the same pressure, so you should happy about it. Because if you can't handle it they shouldn't be playing right?

Penalty system seemed fine, will take a little getting used to but did get a little confused when Giroud stepped up
I saw it yesterday as well in the German Supercup.
It doesn't really seem to change much but it will take a little longer to figure out who's turn it is taking penalties.
Probably try it in the first couple of round of the FA Cup next.
I think it's necessary unless you want to hold penalty kicks at opposite ends of the stadium simultaneously.
