High street in Japan is so alive it's incredible to see, really. Arcades are as well. I'm sure it has a lot to do with Japan being a cash-only culture for the most part, so they haven't really fully discovered the convenience of ordering online.
But I wonder what kind of stores will fill those spots when 80% of the B&M stores outside of big cities like London and NYC are gone. The family-operated B&M shop is a dying art.![]()
