Arsenal are once more linked with Gotze. He is alleged to have a £30m release contract, but I find it hard to believe since a similar figure was reportedly turned down last season by Dortmund

No doubt he is a big fan but I fail to see how we represent a step forward for Gotze. Wenger is very good with young players and getting the best out of them but for Dortmund players this is not a requirement at all since the youth development system there is world class, fantastic set up, fantastic management, challenging for trophies, competing in Europe and now have almost guaranteed CL football.
Gotze wont get most of that with us and wages will only be marginally better than what hes getting since we're shit there too
When we had Fabregas and Van Persie we had an attraction but why the fuck would Gotze want to work with players who are inferior to him?

Gotze is far more likely to be interested in Arsenal were Wenger to sign similarly high profile players to bring to the club alongside him. That way, Arsenal can actually challenge for titles. We are seriously lacking in the creative department. Wilshere is working over-time. He is winning games single handedly for us right now. This cannot be allowed to persist - we need another creative midfielder.
What are you people on about? This isn't Wenger talking "bollocks", it's ITKs who've said Arsene is interested in players X or Y.
He wasn't leaving that summer and you know the rest.
Cazorla is also not good enough. He is far worse than Fabregas, Gotze is worse than Fabregas as well.

Another attacking midfielder isn't what Wenger should be blowing his budget on. Gotze is a very special talent but Arsenal have one of their own in Wilshere.
I know it's said that you should always try and sign those special players but imo Arsenal are in much bigger need of defenders and central midfielders.

Fabregas was an one in a hundred kind of player. He really is amazing, but what you're gonna do.
I think Cazorla is good enough. At least for the current ARSENAL.
