A 60fps battlefield 3 with 64players and a good res should be a selling point on the next gen, BF3 on console really is such a downgrade comparing to the pc version not just on the graphical side.

That said, yeah BF3 doesn't look that impressive to me. More of the same boring campaign and although it looks good, nothing that excites me, especially if they are going with lots of micro transactions for the multiplayer which I'm actually interested in.

If they are going crazy with micro transactions I'm skipping, have a feeling EA will go into full cunt mode. Also fuck the campaign, looks like the same boring BF3 campaign which was fun for about 30 min.

Yeah good point, there's the player count as well. It's a bit sad that 64 players will be a selling point.

Man it's depressing how excited people are for the single player. We played the game like 10 years ago. If they get this on Jimmy Fallon and people eat it up then next gen fps are fucked.

RPS article sums it up perfectly. Also if they're going to use Total Eclipse of the Heart then they should have used the Old School version.

Well... they are. But at the same time... they're not. City do this really dirty trick with a company called Viagogo, which is a ticket exchange. Some City fans accuse them of selling tickets directly to Viagogo to only then be sold on at a higher price.

Couldn't be less interested in BF4 single player. Some people are odd over on gaming side. Somebody mentioned that the 3 screens that were leaked last night didn't look all that great compared to what they expected, and someone lost their shit and had a pop at Guerilla Games saying there's nothing special about their graphics department. Which is obviously ridiculous when you consider the juice they squeezed from the PS3.

Already watched the Endurance Run. I love everything about it from a viewer's standpoint, but it just looks too frustrating in terms of gameplay and repetetive combat

There have been lots of stories in the Spanish press recently about Higuain moving to Tottenham. His girlfriend has got a job in London apparently and he's interested in moving to the PL. Can we see this one happening? I can see Real doing us a good deal like with VDV (dat partnership) but I can't imagine we will be the only party interested.

At what point will it become accepted that new games are skipping the WiiU, so we don't get a big thread every time? Really odd how its become the Wii, only without the 2 or 3 years of massive sales and momentum to make it worthwhile. Genuinely feel sorry for people who thought it would be supported better, although they should have seen it coming.

Well neither are laudable but if your asking me to weigh on my moral scale the difference between blaming people for alleging racist abuse against someone for calling them a 'black cunt' and chanting 'murderers' at a set of fans who clearly had nothing to do with the act in a bid to rile them, I think I have a bead on which is more reprehensible. Might just be me. That said one shitty act does not forgive another.

I was quite happy with the lack of fan controversy this season, hopefully we're moving towards the point where people who sing songs about Hillsborough, Heysel and Munich don't have safety in numbers and get alienated/reported to the point that its eventually stopped. It'll be a long time until that happens completely, but I hope we've made the first steps
