...there were "irregularities" in the vote for Best World Cup

...The Special One said not yet be sorry for not going to the gala awards ceremony.

'Sorry? Not at all. It was the right decision. They called me to tell several people that voted for me and vote appeared another ... I decided not to go, "said Mourinho, speaking to RTP.

Please do. I always thought CSKA would crumble without Akinfeev and did last season when he was out injured. Problem is that he is too loyal and wouldn't leave.
But we were linked with him in the past and expressed a desire to come to the premier league. Has that vanished?

I'm due a haircut. Might go number 2 on the top and number 5 on the sides and back. Then shave my beard but leave the neck hair.

jelly will be off da chain.

It's kind of sad that Owen's best footballing years were from the age of 20 to 25

00-01 Liverpool 28 games 16 goals
01-02 Liverpool 29 games 19 goals
02-03 Liverpool 35 games 19 goals
03-04 Liverpool 29 games 16 goals
04-05 Real Madrid 36 games 14 goal

Compare that to his career after he turned 26

05-06 Newcastle 11 games 7 goals
06-07 Newcastle 3 games 0 goals
07-08 Newcastle 29 games 11 goals
08-09 Newcastle 28 games 8 goals
09-10 Man Utd 19 games 3 goals
10-11 Man Utd 11 games 2 goals
11-12 Man Utd 1 game 0 goals
12-13 Stoke 6 games 1 goal

one of the most overrated forwards from the last decade.

Pretty much. At this stage, with so many antagonisms among posters you may want to know what is the least devastating final that could be drawn.

To me, it would be Dortmund - Gala, they both generate the least hate and arguably the most admiration. So, I assume we would all be fine with it :p

fuck dortmund
fuck galatasaray

:p

I'm sure if someone like Barca called then he would obviously consider it. I'm just not sure if current Arsenal is enough to tempt him away from the club he loves and has been at for 22 years. I don't think it's a big enough step up. Especially since CSKA is going to be in the CL next season.

Barca wont come for him and if I recall his price was a problem it was 20-25mil last time which Wenger will never pay for a goal keeper.

I'd still rather us go with Mignolet or Begovic but if United go in for Begovic as well then we can't sign him.

Yeah, I opted for 4 meters. The catch is that, I porposed a mezzanine level between the ground floor and the ceiling level so I could have som Stack ventialtion on the non-occopied floor space which could balnce the solar gain on the building since many of the walls are made of curtain walls (Glass). Also, and room service is something I am paranoid about, since many of the dvelopment I have witnessed ignore the fact that your building is designed for the long run and that means it has to be maintained. Its baffeling. Now I am thinking if its viable to have a second floor....
Also, Fire escape is gonna be a bitch since my propesed plans is surrounded by sea :/

Do you need a fire escape or can you suitably protect existing access ie. fire rate everything around the access for 1hr and provide safe areas for disabled people?

Or reduce the footprint and have multi level stores from the mezzanine that have external entrances as well? That might be suitable.

Yeah, if he does leave it will surely be for 20mil+. Arsenal really should have gone after Lloris though. What was Wenger thinking? I mean Lloris is French, how could Wenger resist?

Not a fucking chance we give Stoke 15m shekels for someone in a position DeGOD has started to nail down.

Just went to hear Madhur Jaffrey speak.

Woman is a divinity.

Stoke would only spend that money on two strikers who they'd barely play

If Sanchez has any sense, he'll push for a move. He needs a team where his skills can be exploited

I wouldn't be too surprised. He's hardly set the world on fire whilst being there.

City wanted him the summer Barca got him. Would we buy him now? Nah, don't think so.

Of course you'd buy him.

Your only other option is Scott Sinclair.

The system you're proposing is exactly what they don't want to do. Re-refereeing games would never work.

The best system would be to offer them more help on the field.

It is done in every league in American sports. Why are soccer/football referees so scared of it? It's only meant to punish (or retroactively "unpunish") people who got away with illegal activities. They don't change rulings such as scores or anything of that nature. If they won't institute replays, they should at least use this system as a compromise.

Suarez would end up getting banned for 30 games every season :p

Just seen the news Appleton has been sacked from Blackburn.

Not surprised as he is fucking shit but don't really see the effect it will have.

If Sanchez had gone Madrid instead of Barcelona he'd be being talked about as one of the world's best. I think Di Maria is great but Udinese-Sanchez on the other side of Ronaldo and Ozil would have been fucking dynamite.

Villa v SAFC moved for Monday Night Football. Massive game but it will be a shit watch. Fuck off Sky, I don't want our demise from mediocrity to be televised :|

All our games are being moved. We have to play Liverpool next week on a Sunday because of Sky.

I'm not at all surprised by this move. You should feel lucky though, we have a terrible record on monday night games but they keep moving us!

He's still had more impact than Scott Sinclair this year.

Or just don't buy wingers. Or go 3-5-2 and use Kolarov and JM7.

What a tough decision.

Kolarov isn't a good enough player to warrant a start and then you lack natural width in Milner. It seems to work for Juve but that's down to the absolute dynamite middle three they have, which as of yet City can't match. If you're going to use a formation that utilises wingers, it might help to actually have wingers.

Like Clegg was saying, there's a dearth of pure wingers in the league right now. Valencia and Lennon are the only one that come to mind that really look to take it up the byline and stretch the play. Full backs are becoming far more important for that role while people look to keep the midfield compact. I understand the thinking behind it but you think people would exploit a full back's importance nowadays by deploying a specialist to take them on.

Sanchez would shine in any counter-attacking team. That's what Udinese was and is all about under Guidolin. Not surprised he isn't killing it at Barca. He was shit at scoring at Udinese too. He's ready for Juve.

Yeah, the system certainly helped but he was a stand out. It's a shame to see him struggling at Barcelona because considering just how they're depicted by the wider world, he'll be the one that's seen to have the problem. But the two just don't fit.

Madrid, United, Napoli and Spurs would all really suit him.

It was clear it was a 2 horse race to sign him.

However I'll take him now, hes better than Valencia. Then we shift Valencia to RB or LB

Raf at RB. Jones/Smalling as back up.

Fabio coming back next year.

Valencia either bucks up his ideas or we swap him and RVP for Pogba

Wenger was at the Russian national team training session today and had a lengthy chat with Capello afterwards. Wenger you career ruining cunt, you better not be after any more of our players!

Hard to blame Wenger I know he played Arshavin on the left but it wasn't his fault that Arshavin got lazy and unfit.

Sad to see Owen announcing his retirement. People like to take the piss out of him but he has been extremely unfortunate with injuries. I will never forget those early years when he burst in the Liverpool side and the England squad. The goal against Argentina is one of my all time favourites.

Hopefully Liverpool will not repeat the same mistake gain overplaying Sterling at his young age. It maybe already too late for Wilshere.

Van Persie's drop in goalscoring form is positively bizarre. Twice in 2 seasons its happened as well

Not too bothered, he's played a lot of games the last two years with no break with what we all thought was dodgy injury problems anyway. Just needs a rest which he hasn't had. Rooney and Welbeck are playing well, should definitely relax RVP a tad considering how far we are in the league. Play Chicha in Prem for two/three games, RVP in FA Cup.
