I really don't agree with that article at all, and I think he should man up and take whatever punishment he gets.
My point is that the FA have made so many fuck ups over the last 12 months in terms of dealing with various incidents involving conduct on the pitch, and today they've backed themselves into a corner.
3 or less games = ban isn't severe enough (correct).
4 or more games = it's more acceptable and less punishable to be racist.
They should have adopted UEFA's 10 game zero tolerance policy really.

I dunno - it's obviously a pretty awful thing to do that goes against the spirit of the game, but if the FA is being serious, a bite that results in no injury, not even bruising, shouldn't be especially long.
If it were me deciding, I'd do the basic 3 matches, but seeing how the FA loves making an example of Suarez, I'm gonna go with 7.

I can't complain, given it was a completely avoidable and stupid thing to do, puts Suarez in no position to argue. As usual, the FA look like assholes, this time for placing an ultimately harmless bite as being more severe than racial abuse, just a week later after Aguero jumped feet first into a grounded David Luiz.
